Question: is there a definitive method of bypassing this new version’s protection / pay walled content?
I see this game gets regular updates but have not seen a conclusive method, per version, to get into it

I manage to find on some shady site 0.8.5 thats pre-cracked and working. Without the need to install anything else, just extract and run.
If anyone is interested i can try uploading it somewhere but i can't guarantee if it is "safe" (windows defender doesn't detect anything).

Can anybody confirm it's safe? I don't trust just Windows Defender saying it's safe. I sent the .exe that's in Binaries/Win64 through VirusTotal and I got a 1/71 result.

Hello, if you go to the website of the security vendor "trapmine" you might inform your own opinion on the safety of this file.

Trapmine does only mention they've been bought by a security vendor based in the U.S.A, giving no other information about anything. Them not mentionning the vendor in question is a bit strange, and mentionning specifically it is based in the U.S.A is also a rather strange thing too. Transparency when in comes to security vendors are a prerequisite in my opinion, and as far as I am concerned, 1/71 detection is likely to be a false positive. But that's me.

From what it says, trapmine seems to use machine learning to scan for "new threats" that aren't known yet in their database.
That one from the screen even has "low malware score" so its more in line with "we're not sure what it is so lets flag it just in case". It's still your choice but in all likelihood, it's a flase positive.
