A disappointing update, I was expecting the story to move on a bit and go for something a bit darker, as the introduction to chapter 1 suggests.

The scenes are nice but don't really serve any purpose, just the team arriving at an inn, night falling, having sex with the family who own the inn.

End of chapter, waste of time.

It wasn't going to be a big update. It just took a long time to get made.

I am not sure what goes into this type of almost fully animated and voiced Ren'Py game compared to the others we so often see here, but the RAM usage was all over the place for me at least. Sometimes it goes to 6GB and other times it drops to 1GB. That can cause crashes if some assets are not unloaded in time and a couple of other apps are also running. It crashed for me during the dinner at 5.7GB RAM usage on a 16GB RAM laptop (with Ryzen 7 7735HS), then I closed a couple of browser tabs so it doesn't crash, but it is still a bit choppy during the fade-in fade-out effects. There comes a point where the visual fidelity overshadows the user experience, especially with a visual novel, and this is dangerously close to that.
