It's a bit tricky -- technically there's like 2 choices in the second chapter which net you dominant points, but the only way to get enough points for that option is to get a date through dating app on your phone with a certain obnoxious girl, and to act dominant at the meeting with her. It's something the dev was going to change in the next update, because not everyone would want to go on that date.

I don't think i ever had a option to even use the dating app, there was never any kind of break in what was going on to make me think i could. it was always scenario after scenario.

So i managed to go on one date but it's definitely a buggy thing. I was having to ask for dates mid conversation with other characters in the game, only managed to actually go on one of them before the beach incident happened and then locked me out of the game.

Regarding the event where you can only talk about betrayal, that's a mistake that will be corrected in the next update. About the dating app, the idea is exactly that: at some point, you stop and explore – the music on your phone, the dating app, explore the game. Because the content of the dating app is extra, it's a side quest.

Yeah, the problem is that in this version of the game there's never any such apparent moment, nor the game even mentions that you should check out the app on your phone for that extra quest when this supposed moment takes place -- more often than not trying to use the app would just give you a message that you should use it while you're at home, even if you were actually using it while MC was at his home. The thing that made it extra inconvenient was that using the dating app was treated as if the player was pressing the button to advance the content of main window each time you tried to use it.

Dev update #6

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on the game as much as I possibly can in my free time. It’s still less than I’d like, but we’re at that chaotic end-of-semester moment. Since I’m a teacher, I’m currently drowning in grading, closing scores, reports, and all the usual end-of-year madness — so I’ve been working non-stop both at school and at home.

Even with all of that going on, I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress. The entire chapter is already written, and I’m now finishing up the beach party section from Lola’s POV, which is turning out so good. I’m also working on the next morning, which can start in several different ways depending on your choices. So yes, progress is slow — but definitely steady.

My current release prediction is December, maybe even earlier if everything goes smoothly.

I also want to thank all the new members who joined recently. You all have filled my heart with hope and pride. Seriously — thank you for supporting this story and believing in this game the way I do.

And as a little extra: I’m leaving a scene at the end that shows just how hard working in film can be. I think you’ll feel it.
