Hmm... I'll have to keep this one watched for a bit to see how it progresses. Since Rebirth started off good but a lot of plot threads went nowhere. So hopefully they at least learned their lesson from adding too many powers and then doing nothing with them.

I won't lie, MC has the mustachio TV movie date rapist look about him but he is fiercely loyal to Cyra and a bit of a jackass to Laura. The fact that Cyra was overtaken, crucified and simply left to be found would invoke anyone's paranoia. I look forward to seeing this story unfold.

The problem wasn't only the ending...thought, it was bad.
Killing off good characters for really no reason...and in really dumb ways imo.
The lack of romance (and yeah i didn't like Sharon).
The sex scenes were rare and worse, they were just bad.
Choices/powers didn't really matter/forgotten after using once or twice.
The overal lack of an interesting story/good writing after they settled in their new home...so many meaningless, empty dialogues.
Character development was just bad, be it the LI's or the MC, best example with his childhood friend.

And i like vamp storys, i also liked Rebirth early on, but after the fight with the feral it was going really downhill imo, i really hope this will be better, but yeah, let's see.

The pacing and the dialogue feel very alien and stilted, I can't explain...

For example there is a scene that goes:

She pulls you over, and you both get out.
Laura: "So, this is an innocent."
MC: "Innocent of what?"
Laura: "You know what I mean". "Two strangers knock on your door in the middle of the night"? "And you have no idea about things like us?"

?????

Specially after Rebirth it feels like a downgrade in storytelling.

I knew the styling looked familiar! Man o man the memories I have of this game! It went from an absolute 10 to a 5 real fast! And by the ending I don't know if it was even 5 anymore. Damn the potential it had! It could've been the best 18+ vampire game and one of the best games on this site! I thought even the characters were good....even though the dev had the great idea of killing the best ones for some reason. If I was the dev I'd have just revamped that shit! Alas! Maybe this one will be much better or maybe it won't but I really hope it does cuz whoever wrote the beginnings had some realass talent!

it's feels "alien" because real people with functional speech motor won't talk like that lol.

The start was good very promising only the mc could use any other model cause he look like a third goone who die as the hero enter the place .

Fuck. I was gonna ask if that was the MC. No way I'm playing a douche-knuckle from the 80's. Not if I have to look at him. Shit like this is why I prefer POV games and never seeing the MC's face.

Never mind the sour taste the ending of the last, hell, third of the last game, left in my mouth.

I made a similar post on Rebirth. It had a nice flow the first couple episodes, but started getting weird at some dialogues around episode 5. I think the word alien actually matches the feel very well. I always wondered if it had something to do with translation or maybe he had a writer that left.

Getting close to the finish line on the next update. But not close enough, unfortunately. Afraid it won't be ready till next weekend. Aiming for a Sunday release. That's the plan.

As far as getting into details. About one third of the dialogue is still left to do and about a quarter of the renders. Should be done in a week. One other thing we have to do is add more music to the game. But that shouldn't take long.

this render has convinced to me to try this game in the next update haha. I didn't play their last game as I heard mixed things but I loved a Life with Mary
