What would you like me to add to the game in the next update?

  • The connection (police) mechanic. This would be a new "currency" and a new batch of upgrades.

  • More events and the possiblity for the packmakers to add some in their packs.

  • The possbility to train the skills of the girls

  • Progress the story and add story missions (mostly focused on Nicole)

  • Something else (tell me either by PM or in this thread).

A paid MEGA account is the best option. A VPN to switch between locations is also good and I did that with great success.

so you all got a mega premium account? I can only load so few of these girl packs...
I basically never spend money on anything that I can get for free by being patient, but I ended up paying for the basic subscription that's about $2 a month, because that seemed like a pretty good deal for 100GB of cloud storage just in general.

I wish this game could be turned into a game with proper storyline, now that we have a lot of girls and data. Scramble mode is nice though!

what is scramble mode?
Instead of starting with no models and only being able to hire the cheapest ones you can afford from the get go, you're able to hire any of them in a randomly generated way. So a model who might cost 20,000 in normal mode is the first one available to you in scramble, for example. You just don't know.

All the numbers for each model's skill and price are scrambled, with a limited number of them available on the recruitment screen. If you feel like every run goes the same way with you always getting the cheapest girls first, scramble is a good way to shake things up.

Really, REALLY love these kinds of games, not sure why in one review for a game similar to this they were alluding to this game's name not being mentioned because of rules, strange.

There is indeed a rule on this site that reviews can't mention any other games. I think that's a fucking stupid rule, but nobody cares what I think.

Wait, really? Well atleast this game isn't in a Voldemort kind of situation, but still that's fucking bizarre. What's their reasoning? I guess review brigading or whatnot?

I guess? Honestly, I'm kinda cynical about mods (being a firm believer in the whole "power corrupts" thing). I sometimes wonder if they establish dumb, arbitrary rules like that just so they can throw their weight around. To me, being able to say "this game is better than X" or "this game is trying to be like Y, but doesn't succeed" can be extremely beneficial to a good review. That's especially true in niches like this where there aren't more broad general terms for some genres or recurring motifs. Imagine how hard it would be to write a review of whichever Slay the Spire imitators came out right after, before the term "roguelike deckbuilder" entered the common lexicon. It's ridiculous, and utterly unnecessary.

I can understand if the entire review is purely an endorsement of another game, or is something like a dev of another game bashing something similar to prop up their own, but that could be handled on a case-by-case basis instead of having a blanket ban on all mentions of other games.

Yeah honestly that might be the case, in all honesty.

Disgruntler isn't working on this project anymore.
Nonetheless Disgruntler is the creator of it, so even if others have continued and/or expanded on it, credit should still go to the creator. This is the root thread of the game and not a mod thread ;)

Okay? I was responding to a question about whether Disgruntler was planning to add an android version. The answer is obviously no if he's not working on the game at all anymore.

Also, the creator of Venus Club was someone named Tobe who abandoned the game a few years ago. Disgruntler just did some modding on it, and then took over as the main dev after Tobe left. Weird that you're telling other people "so even if others have continued and/or expanded on it, credit should still go to the creator" when you haven't even made any effort to find out who that is.

So many words for just trying to be right. The thread lists Disgruntler as the Dev which the poster obviously referred to. Or how is the saying nowadays: touch grass.

So many words for you not being willing to admit you're wrong.

Maybe you should take your own advice. You made a statement that was simply and objectively incorrect ("Disgruntler is the creator of it"), and no amount of backpedaling or pretending you meant something else is gonna change that. Accept that everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and stop trying to be condescending about something you clearly got wrong.
