i...don't think that's a point anyone was making. you can play a single player game and take your time with it, you know. i've got northwards of 200+ hours on a lot of single player games i play because i can appreciate the writing, the story, the gameplay mechanics, and sometimes just get lost in the world.

wanting the game to feel more of something is just natural. for someone that plays games only for the dopamine rush of rewards, the game would be too grindy and dragging out too much - too much dialogue, too much fluff, etcetera. but for someone that appreciates that the reward is the fun had, gameplay mechanics can always look a different way or be a different thing to make then suit different tastes.

my point is, no one cares if you want to rush through, but don't make it at the expense of the people that don't.
I don't see how having the option to skip sex mechanics and get the same rewards comes at the expense of people who don't want to rush through the game. If people want to play in a way that they gain stuff way faster for less effort, that's their choice. But as someone who likes to take her time with games myself, I don't exactly feel like that is a chain forcing me to skip. I only skip when I think it is tedious, and if it is tedious, trying to make it less rewarding so I do something I don't enjoy for longer isn't the best way to sell me on a game.

If people enjoy the mechanic, they'll use it. If they don't, they won't. If people want to spam a beneficial mechanic in a dull way 100 times in a row, well, that's them isn't it now? Not like anyone will be forced to join, or affected by their decision.

...i think you need to lead with that, or quote whatever it is you were replying to or responding to, because this seems like a basic case of miscommunication on both our ends.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the prison quests. I'm a futa catfolk
For "Trash to treasure," I helped the girl, now it's just telling me to "go check on her." Where?
Also, for Lost depths, I don't know what the yard event is, and I don't seem to be able to trigger it.

I get out of prison after the rat kills the cellmate, then I've gone to the port, helped the nun, talked to her in the basement, and went into the portal thing, but apparently I'm supposed to be able to find the desert in the portal?
I'm unable to do that, and when I go back into prison and repeat everything, the only thing that happens is the rat now tells me to go to the ports.

Also, how does prison rep go up?

Edit: Okay, so it seems like you need the amulet from the fox girl in the sleepy fox inn to view the event in the yard. You might have to complete her whole quest in fact

So far, I'm loving this game, it feels like I fall into quests organically rather than being forced down a line.

I love how you can do a bunch of quests out of order, and instead of thinking, "Oh, I had to do it anyway" I find myself thinking, "Oh, awesome, I've already got the thing ou need"

I love how there are lines that reflect that sort of thing too. If you complete certain quests, or know certain characters, it changes some of the dialogue, but because how fluid the quests feel, it feels like those few lines were earned.

It'd be cool to be able to put fortune in one of your dead bodies after the flesh sculptor played around with it.
Being able to even customize a body made from your parts would be super cool!

Being able to swap to Bedes soul during combat would be cool too, like a temporary infested class
Speaking of infested, it'd be cool to be able to fight and beat Thesaur, and make it submissive to you, becoming the new ruler of the infested

Little adjustments desires + bugs:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Also, about the quest where you bring the eye staff and Annette to the portal area:
Massive spoiler

So currently Snekk (Bless their soul) is currently rewriting everything from QSP into Twine. Any further content is on hold till they get the Twine version where they want it to be.
Any bugs/issues may get worked out during this process but additions will be unlikely due to i think a wiki is next in line.

Ikr. But from what they've shown on Substar they seem to be somewhat enjoying the challenge so swapping over, also giving pixel works ago for a bit of dynamic situations. Hopefully they don't overload themselves too much and burn out.

I've just joined the thread, so forgive me if it has been asked.

But with the Twine remake, would it be possible to have the street dogs try to knot you, giving you an option to allow it? And if they do knot you, they try to drag you into the street?

I was thinking of this mostly as an aesthetic thing, unless it could be tied into the reputation system somehow. Maybe even the crime system, with a possible guard encounter while knotted?

Loving the game though, can't wait to see more.

Exploring the forest in Old/alternate Avedon doesn't appear possible. Nothing happens when I do that, despite being told to meet a woman out there.
