This is such a weirdly functional, yet wholly basic/barely implemented game that I don't even know what it's trying to accomplish.
Are you playing the QSP or Twine, QSP is currently more content but the Twine is remaking the QSP version and will continue to be developed.

Here's a fixed & modded twine version of 0.8.3.
Includes html and a changelog of what I thought were fixes as well as what was modded in. (Only fixed things I encountered)
Make a backup of your save just in case before starting.
Move html file to same location as base game html and enjoy.

Notable Modded Content: Children you birth/hatch can now be raised to be allies. (Hatchable: Lizardfolk Egg, Kobold Egg).

**Updates to this modded content aren't guaranteed!**

Found an error. If a Goblin pragante you in the flophouse/slum I get:

So uhh I have two issues which are both Percy related.

First, whenever I get my character pregnant by Percy and give birth I get an error screen that leaves me stuck there.
Second, after the minotaur quest it still says he's kidnapped by it and I can't interact with him anymore

Earlier in the thread there's someone who says that right now, to keep Percy you have to lose to the minotaur. If you win, they are gone forever.

Unfortunately didn't seperate fixes into their own html so it's not just a fix but with modded content as well. Maybe when I have time I'll seperate it.

Oops let me go fix that, didn't want to make so many new variables so reused the temporary ones like $rand and $currentItems for modded passages. Give me a moment, gonna upload the fixed version to the same post. I did make a few modifications to combat and npc birthing in recent changes that allows enemies and allies to consider their own armor stats and allowing you to bring the children npc give brith to (will upload it later on the week).

Edit: Just downloaded it and tried getting pregnant on a new run and it works. I re-uploaded a new one on the same post a day after the initial post with a fix. Try re-downloading it and see if you get the same error. If so, one fix is to use at least 1 item (any consumable) and it should define $currentItems to start the process.

That's an error within the code, you can open the html up in notepad and search for and change:

Avedon Nobility district&quot;. to Avedon Nobility district&quot;,

the dot was the issue, needed to be a comma.
Having the same error but can't find it in the code when searching

Edit: Copy and paste the error here for the first issue, I'll take a look at it.
Earlier in the thread there's someone who says that right now, to keep Percy you have to lose to the minotaur. If you win, they are gone forever.
It's due to no variable update on where Percy is located at when winning, when captured they're in the cell5 (where minotaur is) but is never moved back to farm. If you add, it proceeds just find. I haven't tried save editing Percy's location back to farm if bug happens but should work, no guarantee so make a back-up.
Save edit method (I use saveeditonline):
1. Open save
2. Search for percyloc (usually want to change the very last one of the save)
3. Change from demoncell5 to farmhouse
4. Load save and visit farmhouse at avedon farm

Make sure the setting for your search is not on Match Case and has Wrap Around on, they can be found clicking the Icon between the X and Up Arrow.

Wish snek would post the source code somewhere so i could open it in vsc. Directly editing the html is madness and im low key shocked you preserve doing it that way.

Never mind. I'm dumb and confused Visual Studio with Visual Studio Code. They're not the same.

I think you can edit the HTML file in the Twine editor. (It's been a while since I tried that with someone else's game, so I might be wrong.) That might be less tedious than trying to directly edit it in Notepad++ or whatever.

You can use Visual Studio Code, it's just a slight bit of headache. All the "<<>>" is converted into something like "&lt;&lt;%gt;&gt;" and all apostrophes are now "&#39;", but for the most part, it's exactly the same. It's just slightly annoying to look at

I use notepad++, it views the html better than normal notepad so its all good. I often edit other html games so I'm all for either QSP or Twine.

Not sure why you're still getting but if you want to fix it on your end here's the steps (Make a back-up copy of the html in case you need to revert back.):

If you do the steps, it should work fine for childbirth again. If not, then put your save file + html in a zip and send it. I'll take a look at it since I'm not having those issues after adding that.

Edit: Found the reason, it's due to the view children in Lover & Family Tab modification I added which uses $currentItem too. I'll make a quick fix and update the previous upload. Guessing this happen after you viewed your children list once? Just tested the fix (used $temptime instead of $currentItem for Lover & Family Tab modification) and re-uploaded the zip, should be working fine please do let me know if it still causes trouble.

But its also because before compiling things are organized in a way thats much easier to get a overview and understanding of- I havent considered using the Twine editor on the html... Another twine game i code for, Degrees of Lewdity, cannot be opened that way. Instead the owners make the source code avaiable.

It does look like madness but once you edit enough, you tend to get the flow of things. One of the few that I edited that was pretty structured well was Course of Temptation, that one is still my fav to mess around with. One of the more chaotic ones is Wasteland Lewdness, not a fan of the code but the game yes. DoL is in the middle, it wasn't too bad but worth it since adding PC to be able to be dominant felt rewarding. Now having been editing Vincindio as a html, its pretty good and having edited the QSP version a year ago helps too but tbh Snek often organizes their code pretty well so that helps immensely.
