Keep up the good work Solid Snekk it's amazing how much you have got done since you started over from scratch.
Course of Temptation has a great trait system for npcs. It could be useful for inspiration and interactions. I have no idea how, but on CoT, there is also the option to start dialogue with the NPCs in the area (many of them have their own daily routine).The NPC code is going pretty well.
The reason I'm focusing so much on this is because I needed to generate people to flirt with the player in bars.
This same system is also going to be used for slavery so I am trying to balance there possibly being a dozen npcs as I don't want the game to crash due to high load.
This pic is a goblin propositioning the player in town as they have the "Lustful" quirk which has them be hornier than usual.
Working on this in a side project because of how broken it is but I might be close to it working exactly how I want.
I've looked at it before and the backend of that is something else. I think they have every character in the game generated so that they can have daily schedules but there's 3k passages as most paragraphs are their own thing.Course of Temptation has a great trait system for npcs. The default I'm testing for npcs in a location is around as this would allow the player to have a few randomized friends/clients.
The current quirks for npcs are:
Lustful - Tracker for people who would be random customers
Sterile - Can't get or make others pregnant
Rapist - They try to rape you or others, self explanatory. The prison will have a higher chance of this.
Shy - Will take SO MUCH longer to unlock the option for sex
Anal Lover - Will prefer anal sex over others
Oral Lover - Will prefer oral sex over others
Creampie Lover - Only wants to give or receive creampies
Gay - Likes their same gender. Real rough if their gender is futanari as that is going to be mildly rare
There are also racial preferences.
Don't have futanari in the game yet but that would be an easy fix, it just involves some math I don't really wanna do.
Sex scenes are also [Add sex scene here] as I need to get the art settled.

That leaves me with two questions:
1. How many randomized npcs should be in a location?
2. What other quirks should I give npcs? Keep in mind that a npc could theoretically have every quirk.

I think that you could split this into two quirks, one that has them only interested in their exact same gender and one that includes futanari as long as they're masculine/feminine enough. Though you'd have to add maleherms and I don't remember if the qsp version had them or not. Also bisexual are a thing.Gay - Likes their same gender. That one is unfinished as I never got around to fixing the crime in the port. Eventually it would have gotten broken into and your things would have gotten stolen.Got a problem with the warehouse quest, I installed the metal bars and been staying there for days going through the rooms and literally nothing is happening besides sometimes being about shout at people outside when i look through the windows of the library
Slavery just never worked the way I wanted it to. Aside from giving her to a tentacle monster as part of a quest there isn't much you can do with her.I also have an enslaved nun but idk what i can do with her aside of selling her to the bandits
