VN - Ren'Py - Victoria in Big City [v0.6.5] [Groovers Games]

I almost regret downloading this game. In spite of the better quality renders and animations it's a bore to read and the dialogues are uninspiring, less than a turn on even during the spicier sex scenes. I rushed through the second half and it was the same good renders and boring writing and story. Fap and forget until next release.

Good to Great for a cartoon porn game. The only suggestion for the dev is please do something about that music. It is the same repetitive tingle song over and over again. Some varied tunes or something different.
To be a Great game it needs good music and/or top sounds to go with those amazing graphics.

This stands out as one of the most sizzling adult video games available, and it's only getting better! The developers are only getting better at their job. From its engaging storyline to its steamy scenes and captivating animations, Victoria in Big City offers an experience that is undeniably alluring, titillating, and thought-provoking. It's an incredibly enjoyable adult video game; the graphics are impressive, and the female main character is exceptionally attractive. The intimate encounters are passionate and diverse.

ViBC is one of the hottest AVNs out there, and it's getting better! The Devs at Groovers Games are doing a great job! From the entertaining story to the hot scenes and animations, Victoria in Big City is definitely hot, stimulating and provocative! From my understanding, big improvements are coming as well.

As for experiencing ViBC with Victoria as the main MC, (Female Protagonist), it is very appealing, sexy and hot. There should be more Female Protagonist AVNs out there! They are very sexy and entertaining, especially the good ones like ViBC!

If you like fem mc porn games you will like this game. If you're looking for one of those fem mc games in which you have to wait literal years to see some action this is not for you. While the story doesn't go full slut since the beginning this is not How I met your Mother.

I just came across this game and it's one of my new favorites. The renders are fantastic, the story keeps your attention, and there's choices which actually have an effect. Very well done and I can't wait to see where it goes in this game and future games from this dev.

I got bored...now that's not a great start to any review...but it's bland, especially at the beginning. It felt very generic and uninspired...not a lot of choices and side paths that lead nowhere.
However, the protagonist is attractive and believable and it makes a change to play a female lead...but the story is rather dull and unimaginative...protagonist leaves behind her uneventful, small town life [working in a bank] and moves to Big City, temporarily leaving behind her pathetic excuse for a boyfriend, in search of her dreams [working in a bigger bank]. It's hardly a captivating start and for the first few hours, it's mostly mundane dialogue and not much else.
It does improve later on as more interesting characters come into the storyline, but everything is hampered by an overflow of dialogue, no build-up of relationships or sexual tension, boring animations and a wet dish-rag of a boyfriend who would lead any woman to stray.
So, in summary, it was an average, by the numbers VN. It's not bad, and I've played a lot worse, but it won't revolutionise the VN genre.
It's worth a try...these are only my subjective opinions.

First of all, the game consists of text, lots of text, an incredible wall of text. You read for hours before anything interesting happens. But that's probably ok.

There are also errors that start at the beginning of the game, probably since the first release and are not worth fixing. The girls in the game all look good, the guys... no, just no. I mean some of them don't even have hair, they have something that looks suspiciously like feathers. Well, that's ok too.

What's not ok (for me) is that I'm asked if I want to kiss a guy and then I can refuse. But I won't be asked if I want to be fucked like a drugged up crack whore. That's just what the developer decided, eat or die.

So what are the promised 3 routes?
Lesbian? perhaps.
faithful female? Well, probably not.
corruption? how come? She falls on her back for everyone at the start.
Maybe free fuck doll but without kissing?
I have no idea and I won't find out. If I'm going to read a novel, I'd rather read a good one.

Gave the game a try even if it got some mixed reviews + am very happy i did. Really enjoyed the game!

Artwork + lighting gets better in the newer chapters.
Corruption is great. There are some different paths to play/discover. Sex is shown in a positive/enjoyable way.
Special mention should be given to some very hot + very long sex scenes in the newer chapters.

There is no Gallery in the game, but there is a mod for this.

This is a really fun AVN. the graphics are good and FMC is very sexy. The sex scenes are hot and varied. What I also enjoy is the fact that there are several paths that can be takes so you can play it multiple times and have different experiences, from a really good girl to full corruption.

The only reason this has two stars instead of one is because I appreciate the the women in this game. Everything else is so lazy and forced. There are not enough choices where there should be and it's clear that the dev just wants to tell a story instead of making a game with actual different routes. That would be fine, if not for this game pretending to have choices that actually matter.
One thing I look for in a game with a female MC is if there is a way to have a lesbian only playthrough. This game does not. There are lesbian points but they might as well not even be in the game because the focus is on the guys and there are barely any interactions with the women. Even if you don't select any of the options to earn David points, you still get forced into a date with him where you end up kissing. Also the dev puts in a stupid reasoning to stay with your boyfriend even though it makes more sense to break up with him. The MC is not feeling in love with him anymore but stays with him just because she doesn't want to hurt his feelings. That's such a stupid way to force a relationship. Also, even if you select all good girl options the MC still chooses to act slutty with no input from the player. There is no true choice in this game, just what the dev wants to happen. This game is also full of the stupid porn game tropes like a MC who doesn't remember to lock the door to the bathroom, the MC just accepting stupid reasonings for things like why she doesn't get a job she is clearly qualified for without even an argument, and dumbass things like an elevator shaking conveniently enough to make the MC fall into a guy and land so the guy has his hands on her breasts.
This game had some potential to be a good game but lazy writing, forced relationships and events, and stupid reasoning drag it way down. Of course, if all your looking for is a story about a woman moving to the city and becoming a slut then this is the story, not game, for you.

There isn't a single guy in this supposedly "female" game acting like a male. They are all passive sissies, cowardly wimps, resentful fags. Their behaviour is offensive to women. They belong in a gay club, not in female games! These guys just don't know how to flirt! They don't know how to woo a lady. Their behaviour resembles that of a shy 12-year-old hikikomori. The look of the characters is bad. The sculpting is lazy. It is impossible to identify the race and nation of NPCs. This happens when the author has not seen in real life what anthropological types of faces there are and is not know anatomy. Anyone who know western people knows that people there have a developed sense of origin. They can tell where you come from just by the way you look. The author creates a game about people from the USA, but didn't bother to study their urban culture, read books.

The renders are too bright. Eye fatigue appears. You experience pain when looking at this brightness. There is no dynamic range. Renderings are either shadowless or shaded along with faces. This is a disgusting light work. It is enough to watch at least one Hollywood film to notice that faces are always visible even at night. And that even in the daytime there are deep black shadows.

There are no options to choose from. I didn't want to go on a date with David, but the dev made me. There's no guy out there at all worthy of a date.

Victoria in Big City [v0.5]

I played this game probably a dozen times. Problem is, that it was a dozen different games, with the same old patterns.
You move to a big city, meet people,peek on others having sex and masturbate, you get drunk, have sex, peek on people while their naked, and the cycle goes on and on.
It's fucking lazy copy/paste bs that you've already seen in so many other games.
If you would create a game full of porn-game tropes, then this would probably be it.
You're that innocent girl who looks like, at least 30, who if I remember correctly, leaves her parents home to move to a BIG CITY that brings many "challenges and adventures".
While you're there you'll meet totally uninteresting people, stumble on guys dicks, and become a slut in no-time.
After like 15 minutes or so I stopped playing the game, because it was just the same repetitive cycle all over again.
I would even bet that the relationship points don't matter at all, because they didn't matter in my playthrough.
If all of that doesn't matter to you, then this might be a game for you.
The renders are decent, sex scenes are decent and animated.
I love corruption games, but at the end of the day, this just wasn't for me, and I would expect a little more than just the uninspired porn trope game, that I've seen countless times already.

So far I am thoroughly enjoying this VN. It is a CORRUPTION VN and I love CORRUPTION VN's.. I'm always surprised when the I hate corruption VN's crowd get obviously forced to download a corruption VN game against there will!

The writing is solid, no errors were encountered so far. The female MC is attractive and choices do matter as to what path you go down. If you want your GF to be a faithful saint go for it but stop going down the corruption path and crying about it.

Great job so far to the developers and please keep the updates coming.

What I love about this game is the fact that it has a female MC and male LI aren't complete pieces of shit. It's so refreshing as because the cheating/corrupting genre where every male character is an asshole is so oversaturated. The renders are also great and Victorias model looks fantastic. Animations look kinda stiff but it doesnt bother me. Story is okay, nothing crazy. Definitely looking forward to more. Kudos to the dev!

Grovers Game has come a long way with Victory and we are still just at the beginning of this already excellent game with so much potential left to develop and explore.
1. the image models are excellent and Victora is just exceptional. Curves in the right places and is like all models and scenes in the game well crafted and rendered in very high res and hi quality! Love it!
2. the story is now multi path that are some times mutually exclusive and sometimes not. Choices matter and the player controls it so choose carefully and make sure to try to play several paths because you will miss a ton of content if you only play it one way through. Probably, so far, you need to play the game almost 3 times to get all paths - again this is great and makes the story much more complex and interesting -super!
3. Grovers Game is also quite productive (for the small team I believe they are) and just delivered a huge release that you really need to play at least twice to see all content GREAT!
4. also very reliable in delivery. For instance, he always like clock works delivers monthly bonus Wallpapers on Patreon. A great way to keep engaging with the Patrons and give something between releases. Excellent!
