There are choices in the game but they are FAKE you can't change anything with them. All content is locked behind bad girl route. While good girl route is a there to mislead players to think they have a choice and can get content on good girl route.
The game overall looks good, but the choices for MC are dull and boring, they are all look generic.
Didn't like the fact that the girl can't go full lesbian without enough bad girl points, which can only be earned from interaction with generic guys.
Doesn't look like you can form anything dirty AND meaningful with the characters and the game does not look like a screwfest you can enjoy.
This is more or less exactly what you'd expect it to be. Story is decent with serviceable characters, but nothing that hasn't been done a lot of times and better before. There are choices, but outside of going on the good or bad path, they mostly limit themselves to wether you want to see some content or not.
Render quality is pretty decent and the character models are all hot, with Victoria obviously being the best. The game has mediocre animations, but since it starts with none and they get better through time, I'd say the creator is getting better with them. I turned of the music as always, so can't say if there is or not, or if it fits or not, but I can say there seems to be no other sounds. And, at least in my playthrough, I found few bugs.
So, all in all, not the best, not the worst, kinda in the middle and a good definition of what an average game can be. As it advances the story loses some interest, but the animations get better, so it more or less balances out.
again as others have posted so the choices are not really choices if we are doing them for the points only and not because we want to see said content which is lame but it is what it is make her become a all out slut and say no at all cost to avoiding sex to anyone at anytime . but as others have said i do not see what all is exactly new it seems to be exactly the same stuff as before or maybe im missing something here . but choices are just illusions at that if you try to balance it out to see all content in one go you can't because you basically have to either be good girl or bad girl yes their is lesbian points but they really are not that important as good or bad you do not have enough of one you miss out on the other and vise verse which is lame . for lack of said choices i give it a one . now for renders i would give it 1.5 if i could but im sticking with 1 because this is misleading alot of players with illusions of choices when their are limited choices .
To start off with "Victoria in Big City" is not a game I would recommend for players looking for a choices matter story. After making a few early-game choices between good or bad-girl, you are constantly locked out of the opposite path with a minimum number of said bad/good-girl options needed to proceed with said action. Which makes no sense, as there's not enough opportunities in the story present to give you points to accumulate said amount to at least act as a good or bad girl later on in the story. There's no mixing of paths, just purely good or bad-girl paths only.
If the developer wanted that to be the case, then the choices you don't have available (which are a measly 2) should be grayed out, instead of constantly misleading the audience with fake choices for Victoria.
There's also a lesbian path, but again, you have to often sacrifice bad or good-girl points, as well as show an interest early on in the story for you not to be locked out of the lesbian as well as the other two paths in the game.
Additionally, there should be more decisions overall or at least selections where it would make sense. For example: Why is there consistently no choices for Victoria to bring up the obvious fact that she's in a relationship with Lucas to potential LIs like Michael and/or David? Katy is a slut, we all know that, but David is clearly one of the good ones. If she truly loves or at least is a good girl, then there should be an option(s) to break up with Lucas and not be forced to cheat on Lucas if we want to pursue someone one else.
I don't understand the point of dragging out a relationship that Victoria's heart is clearly not in it. Not to mention, if I don't have enough bad points to simply peak on someone in a shower, then how do I have enough bad points for Victoria to cheat on Lucas with David, openly flirt with strangers, or let Joshua (co-worker) grind his dick on Victoria's backside at work?
Anyway, the one star is mainly because the female models in the game are generally attractive, but pretty much the same body type and/or have facial features that are way too common within Ren'Py.
Not a bad game; I liked the nice images and animations, but I can't say much about the story. I would buy something like this on Steam. It might be nice to add fetishes and futa to the game, with an option to turn them off, as well as giving more significance to choices.
Render quality is quite good but maybe lacking some more detailed lighting. Environments, backgrounds and props are well done. Women are hot but at the same time generic looking. This is supposed to be a story of a girl moving to the city and being corrupted. I didn't see much corruption (if any), just a girl that either will do anything to get herself off or just say no (your choice). It takes a very good writer to build a corrupt path and make it believable, which this game sadly lacks. Many events are railroaded so you don't get to choose most things. Even if you choose lesbian path or not.
There are some hot scenes and scenarios in here that will please quite a lot of people. My favs were the car wash and the late night at the office. Even though some of the scenes are good. There's no coherent story or plot. Feels like Dev has just put in all these events in at random. As if nothing was pre planned. Her Dad's sickness is supposed to be extremely critical but he seems completely fine. Always joking , travelling hours to see her, no pain etc. Yet he needs this specialist doctor urgently? Which seems to resolve itself of its own volition. That should have been a corruption/blackmail plot to get the father the help he needed. No thought whatsoever seems to be put into the story or corruption path.
Writing is average - sometimes dialogue is fine, other times it's noticeably bad. Half the text in the game is just the male character's thoughts of how hot Victoria is and how bad they want to bang her. Joshua (coworker) is the only one that seems to have some sort of personality. He obviously starts out as a perv but gets more endearing as the game goes on. Ben is a strange character, treats Victoria well to her face but has some mild perverted thoughts. Then acts dominant later with degrading names, while also doing romantic gestures throughout!? This game is all over the place with it's characters and stories. Like a jumbled mess that hits its mark 25% of the time.
The lewd and sex scenes are fine, some animations that look good. I don't mind if there's no animations at all. Strangely this game seems like it needs it more than most. The dev constantly writes things during the sex scenes like:
Slap, Schtoosh, Grope, Fwaack, Vigorously Rubbing, Heavy Panting, etc. Why not either make a couple extra renders showing that, put in a couple sound effects or do the animation. Even when characters are shown kissing or sucking it will still show *KISS* *Heavily Sucking* in words haha. Writing all these silly words is the worst thing to do. Feels like the old Adam West Batman TV Show lol. First it was annoying then it became unintentionally hilarious.
There is only one song playing the whole game. It just loops over and over, so you'd rather put music off.
Some male characters are supposed to be certain races but you can see that the dev/artist just made their skin colour darker on a white man's body. It's strange and distracting, when there are so many other characters available that would suit better.
Overall it's not bad it's just a bit meh. Has a lot of potential though! I just don't see it getting any better unless the Dev gets another writer. Then it would make a huge difference. Right now it's just a quick porn game with nothing memorable. Lots of horny lewd scenes put together at random. Mainly foreplay, with a couple of actual sex scenes.
I heard it's being remastered? lol. Unless you are hiring a new writer and editing scenes around a more complex story, there is no need. Play to your strengths, just keep it a simple sex romp, as with the limitations of the Dev's writing, it won't improve with only him working on it.
Just checked and this game has had no updates for almost a year from when I originally wrote this review. Wow! So not only did he abandon work on the current game but left all his supporters down by giving them nothing of the new version for a year. That's if he will even release this new version in the future?! If any Dev cannot get an update out or redo some elements of the game within a year, they are not worth your time. Thats pretty disgraceful
This game is incredible, I'm in love with it, perfect female character with perfect figure, cool story and lots of options, the main character's outfits are so sexy you can go crazy, the potential of this game is as big as imaginable and I wish it to grow and develop fast, this is the only game in a long time that I donate to every month and I recommend you to do it as well
(The only thing that annoys me is the monotonous music in the game hopefully in the future it will be fixed.)

Well... this is yet another typical corruption game. Hot, naive girl ,comes to big city and moves in with her slutty friend who makes her uncomfortable but she soon discovers she is just as slutty. The story jumps from one scene to another. It is basically a series of porn scenarios strung together.
The good parts of this, and hence the 4 stars, is the artwork, animation and erotic writing. The pacing of the story as well as the scene blocking and staging are pretty darn good.
But that's where it ends. After that, it is just another average, unoriginal story with no real plot in mind. And perhaps that's the point... the dev doesn't really care where the story goes as long as it goes on to the next porn scene.
So if you are looking for a good story with strong characters then move along... nothing to see here. If you just want some hot scenes with a hot protagonist, then download and play immediately.

In spite of the better quality renders and animations it's a bore to read and the dialogues are uninspiring, less than a turn on even during the spicier sex scenes. I rushed through the second half and it was the same good renders and boring writing and story. Fap and forget until next release.

If you like fem mc porn games you will like this game. If you're looking for one of those fem mc games in which you have to wait literal years to see some action this is not for you. While the story doesn't go full slut since the beginning this is not How I met your Mother.
I just came across this game and it's one of my new favorites. The renders are fantastic, the story keeps your attention, and there's choices which actually have an effect. Very well done and I can't wait to see where it goes in this game and future games from this dev.
