Would definitely love to support Eromantis with a purchase of VST on Steam. The story is way too compelling for me to not keep tabs on how the narrative progresses in the future

nah not really just a Hero is asked for all the time when it's pointless just needs patience so I felt like being a smartass. I got no issue with people sharing links after all that is what this site is it would be a dead site if it didn't. not even about morale high ground for me it's just a line I won't cross no matter what because isn't in my comfort zone. But I still use this site , so clearly I still ride the high sea's and that isn't beyond my comfort zone. I'm just patient how I see it an updates comes when it comes no need to ask for a Hero.
There are devs who specially upload their games to this site. Why? Well my guess is for people to play test their game before they put it on something like Steam if they plan to at all but also as advertising. Adult games are still a pretty underground thing, especially ones with fetishes that a lot of people find disturbing. This site allows people to enjoy games they might otherwise be too afraid or embarrassed to even consider playing.
As for financially supporting the devs, I did support several devs on several games. They all of them abandoned their games so I refuse to support any other devs until their game is completed and I like the content. What I don't support is people who blindly give money to devs every month even if the dev hasn't put out an update for 6+ months.
Those who want to or can financially support devs, please wait until the dev has released an update that is worth while because if you continue to just blindly give them money regardless of if they put out good content why would they.

My guess is a couple reasons, devs not making as much money as they want or think they should. More time consuming then they thought it would be for how much money they are making. They get bored. People being negative about their game. I think it varies by dev, some I think are just selfish they make what money they can in the least amount of time and then abandon the game. That is one reason why I will never support another dev UNTIL their game is done, which is really sad because a lot of the devs need support to continue.... you just never know what devs will honor the money people give them and complete their games and which devs will take the money and run.

It's pretty simple, most dev's have a real life and a real-life job, making a porn game is a side thing. The game is secondary for most. Most cannot make it a full-time job.

Very informative convo folks, but may I suggest retracing our steps back to VST? Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I've witnessed F95 mods "cleanse" threads for far less. Lets not give them any reason to turn their gazes this way

I just want more Naomi ( think that's her name). Her character made me want to go from turning her into a slut into just a lesbian for Naomi. I don't even care about transforming her anymore cause of that character. yeah, it could be that it evolves into an alternative "revenge path", but not sure what that would do to the corruption angle of the story
guess we'll just have to wait and see Yes a side thing but that doesn't answer the question that was asked which is why so many games get abandoned. It explains why the updates are few and far between but not why the games get abandoned. Nice try though.
Overall not a lot of content on ep9, but there is a very significant change on Lily's life, and I am liking where the story is heading to.

It is the case, people realize they don't make enough money, so they just quit. Others get banned from Patreon as well and don't make enough money at other platforms. So, no, it was not a nice try, it is the reason, people have real life jobs (and other responsibilities some started new jobs, started a family, couple dev's got married and didn't want their spouse know what they were doing, graduated college, and so on) and can't devote the time needed to the game. It's been said was the reason on so many of them, along with not making enough money, so they had no motivation to keep going. Sort of like real life eh? You don't like the job, so you quit, or you don't make enough money, so you quit
