thanks and your so right , when building my VARS (looks) i amusing a VAM full with almost 500+GB of stuff , i trie to use empty scenes as a base but like you say , upon packaging the VAR some random dependinces show up from knowhere like Vam X ? god knows why . i assume that i must have 20 different versions of huntings eyes in many different VARS like vam x etc and randomly pick.Hey dude.
Your work is Great... i alrdy was on the way to build a BigPack with it.
But Problem is, the most of your Vars are broken
(The Dependients.)
Some Times you have things like VamX (older one) as Dep, (For Hunting Succubus Staff... = Broken.)
or my BigPacks
The Point is... The easiest Way to dont brake your new created Vars.
Only build Content in a Clean Vam Build with only the Vars you only want to
use for your Content.. Like Hunting Succubus.
You realy done a great Job with your Models!
But like many other Creators... Your way to build your Content with
your normal Vam Build with all your used Vars.... is Wrong.
For Real... i say this now i think many many Times in this Thread for
the Hope many People read it...
Your Work is so Great thats why i say this again.
But your Vars are Fubar/ broken (the most of them..)
But there is hope... Go in Metas (Main, Scene, Looks....) There you can repair
them with Text Edit. When i have Time i will do a BigPack of your Girl and than
i repair them. (When you are not faster..)
At this Time Bamair is my Prio (On the tour to build a complete Pack of Bamair with much lesser deps for Clothes...)
(No on need all the Clothes... so much Space on the HD and if you want it... you can just put them on in Scenes..)
Its the Thing...
The VAR System on its own is a great thing...
But i think the Virt a Mate Team are Crys Everyday because around 95% of all Creators dont know
how to build Vars correctly
The Funniest Thing is... when you see People like Vectorror using your BigPacks (Pirate Stuff... ) as Dependients
in there Content... in Paywall Content...
For real... many times i alrdy found my BigPacks as Deps in Payed Contend on the Vam Hub lol...
Thats just... LOL
PLZ all you Great Creators !
Only use a clean Vam Build with only the Vars you realy need for your Creations..
Or you will do Fubar Vars.
Why we have this Problem ?
think about it (All of you.)... When you have some Vars installed with the same Files (Clothes... Morphs... Hairs..)
You will have Duplicates. Than you create new Content... and you dont use the Files from the right Vars you need..
You use the Dupicates... and in the end the Duplicates are your Dependients. Thats the Problem. No Magic.
This is maybe the biggest Problem in the Vam Community.

and i do try to keep the file size and depends as small as possible but as suggested above , im going to build on a clean install so VARS are broken with old depends etc. , i made 2 versions of her and both turned out poor but got others to try i totally agree as these random depends were bugging tthe hell out of me when building and packaging my looks as i had no idea why they were there BUT i assumed it wouldnt be an issue for most. I can clearly see a clean install is better though for building . i did have a clean version for testing in the past but wasnt sure of the base things neede like morphs etc . could anyone provide like a generic base of what to put on a clean version as my current one is so cluttered now i cant make heads or tails of it

You know my content is Early access right? So me making it free after a time is kind of pointless if you are going to just share it anyway. I may as well stop creating all together since nothing seems to work for you. I used to do a 1 week early access, still you share, then a 2 week, how long do i have to make it? just never release another thing?
