apparently they are doing a leap of faith trying to fix lots of things and adding new stuff
if that's so, maybe hopeful
the ideas in the game are good. But there's an obvious skill ceiling that was hit very VERY early on by Succudev. PLaying a lot you can absolutely see some of the "logic failures" that were programmed in.
EG: Alphabetical sorting/searching leading to repetitive and underwhelming experiences. I was so confused for so long why i was never getting certain tasks.
it turns out that when selecting activities, it does so alphabetically.
In addition, that menu that was added to allow you to swap on or off activities before a session, still does not fully work. If your contract has it pick 4-10 activities, you select and add those 10, the game STILL might RNG only 4 of them. AND will again pick it's tasks alphabetically.
This causes things like Watersports, or other late alphabet activities to get completely missed and never put into sessions.
There's also time issues. The game straight up doesn't honour the time settings you put. sessions will almost always run over. will often randomly add time well past the session time settings, or even the session hard caps.
as you dive through this game, there is not a single system, or implementation that was not completely marred by really low quality coding and programming. It became so completely overwhelmingly bad that the last version that didn't completely bug out a lot was .38
