You have to understand F95 is not the place to complain about people sharing or leaking the game.
Yes, it is a somewhat low thing to do, no argument there.

But that's how I (and many others if not 90% of the people on this site) got to play and enjoy many games that I later in life went to support.

Not everyone has a thick skin and can take criticism, and most of what's on F95 isn't constructive enough for any dev to bother themselves with it.

But to see one taking criticism without a grain of salt, they diggest that shit like it's their breakfast. You may behave like that because the game is getting shared and passed around and that's understandable but not justifiably so.

Is there a way to have the succubus not look so much like a child? For obvious reasons that's a pretty big turn off.

F95 has a lot of people like this, true, but there's another side of this - you don't need to respect any of them either, and answering to them or considering their opinion is optional. I mean I can understand where you are coming from (by the way don't know what you mean "like you", I've never downloaded your game because its not my type of game, I just thought it was a unique concept worth checking up on). If I was in your situation I wouldn't necessarily like people pirating my game but I'd come to terms with the fact I'm making 25k a month off a game that lets be honest is nothing crazy, so combating pirates would not be a concern for me. Just making it worse by trying to crusade against it because people are tism'd, because you are making such a big deal out of it they will just make it their life's mission to spread the game to piss you off (which is already happening by the way). The only true way to combat pirates is by having your game so unpopular that people don't care to go through the effort of pirating it and clearly that isn't your scenario. Trying to do a good thing here and save you from wasting time and money.

Well, it usually doesn't help when the dev wants to shit on people. Though demographic trends indicate this doesn't matter.

Similarly, it is difficult to stop piracy. Will pretty much never happen.

Your game is great and I'm glad you're able to support your family with it. I will continue to support you on Patreon and hope that your good luck continues. The smart toys update was a great addition!

SuccuDev is giving everyone an easy way to get their game for free and some of you are biting the hand that's feeding you. We're lucky they haven't implemented license files tied to Patreon like some other devs are doing. It's a dev's right to enforce their goal (their right, even) to make money on their project. It's their project, not ours.

It's important to support indie devs however we can, financially or otherwise, if we like what they're doing. How else can we expect them to sustain their projects?
