Seeking visual novel games with good content

I'm looking for games that have a decent bit of tags with a male protagonist. I prefer games that are not sandbox style or build up money or click around the room for this or that. i just want simple games that have multiple choices for different paths. i would prefer 3dcg but will always entertain the idea of 2d if the game seems decent enough.

I'm going to assume you are new here and tell you that this request is best answered through a search in the latest updates tab. Just go there and you should see a whole bunch of filtering options to the right... if you don't then you need to hit the button on the top right that looks like a thumbtack or a T shape. From there you can filter by likes, release date, rating average. You can exclude certain tags... u can filter by certain tags. You can exclude abandoned games and you can search for VN games only... which is what you are looking for.
