Dreams Of Desire - for a little touch of "interesting". (Completed + Holiday/Christmas EP)
Milfy City - for.. oh well , for milf. (In Progress) 0.5 half of the game , still worth playing if you can't wait half a year.
Big Brother - (Abandoned) , still a lot of content. + LOTS of mods (+scenarios and fanmade content).
Koikatsu - (Illusion) still need to find a premade pack that contains translation and mods because why not.
PlayHome - (Illusion) if raping is your thing.
Now some of... "the best" games in the patreon-porn-hentai-godforgotten-content are not visual novels. but they don't have exceptional graphics as well.

If incest isn't your bag, try both of these:
-Acting Lessons by dr.PinkCake, great graphics, story is interesting if a little odd near the end in terms of Dev choices (you'll see). It is more of a slice of life with a bit of melodrama thrown in than anything else.
- Depraved Awakening by PhillyGames, easily among the best VN's on the site, it's long with plenty of content and excellent graphics particularly in the later half of the game. it follows a PI in a noir style in the modern setting, pretty fun with a certain degree of rough content, not too much though IMO.
Both are complete, both have lots of content, both have good to excellent graphics and a decent amount of reply value, they were both common mentions when we were talking about a "game of the year" sort of awards on here late last year so i'd say they are widely considered pretty damn good VN's.

There is an inherent problem with your question.Looking for interesting visual novels, would like some recommendations
People have different opinions on what is interesting and what is worth playing.
A lot of the people on here for example don't care how bad the story is written or such as if the story has glaring or massive plot holes such as Big Brother. Any past 5th grade should be able to point out the issues with it. But some people will recommend it my assumption is their only real interest in the story is image and fapping.
If all you wanted to do was fap hell there are a million porn sites out there with images and videos that will serve that purpose right. So the real reason someone should be here is the difference in the content type if not they really probably are wasting time bothering with adult games and stories.
Next question I would ask beside do you actually care about the story and plot is what type of graphics are you interested in.
