last update wasnt that long ago you know 08-07, its too early to call it abandoned, altho i think it was just sketches and not colored images, but i dont know how big it was cus i didnt play it, always look at patreon or subscribestar activity too
i dont know how big update was altho if its became really small, with less and less work put into them, thats is a bad sign indeed

It's not my place to disclose all the details, but she also has a mental illness. Expect periods of no activity then sudden bursts of productivity. I had a friend with the same illness, it sucks for us but them's the breaks. If she can find the right meds it will help, but not all people react to the meds the same and living in a country at war isn't exactly conductive to obtaining the right medicine.

Ok. Good to know. I'm just saying based of what I know only with this page of the thread (without mention that maybe I forgot that she have a illness, what type and where she lived).

About your first point, and maybe I ended sounding like a ignorant or stupid:
The quality in medicine exist based on the materials and human recources (public or private hospitals). So it could happened that even without having a lot of money in hand she could bought the medicine more cheaper her antidepresives there, luckily with the same quality, than in her birth place. I mean, letting aside that I know that almost all the things of the world cost money, depending of the country and context (in the case of Russia is a war) it could happen or thought that maybe it was more cheaper in Russia based on the situation (plus she wasn't able to went to Ukraine in that time like she wanted, so in that moment she could though that she didn't have much options).
Without mention that if she was tricked by her parents, surely she could did anything to not having to see her parents again whatever the hospital she could went.
