This was meant for the DESKTOP version. I didn't test this in the VR version and don't plan to. If it works it works.

They use Unreal in wrong ways and their overall Scan Pipeline result sucks in the final combination.

On the Motion Capture Part and fluidity of some results i would disagree with you some of those vrXcity Animation Mocap results are much much better especially when you look at the Mouse Gestured Pose Change results.
But yeah Marley Brinx is supposed to be 25 and look overall average decent what we see in vrxcitys results currently doesn't mirror that in any shape yet, not in the important final result what comes out of a staged optimized showcase render result is uninteresting.
And dont expect Marley to be percepted like the way you see her in her Porn Production results forget it, you can get these moments sometimes but they are very rare
What we see in vrXcity currently is very different it's a reverse of our age perception of her but it is personally totally interesting to me to percept it the other way around for the first time in a very extreme way as such, it opens a lot of questions
And we all know lot of Porn Actresses are made to look younger to the observer then they are but with Marley here it is even more crazy, nothing really fits.
Totaly exciting to me to try to understand why and dig deeper into the character of who "Marley Brinx" is

This game is something new, but nothing more.
Good animations but ugly models. There is also no story, this is basically a scene selector, and for that its really bad.
I mean, there are 2 (TWO) females, and only blowjob and cowgirl animations. Wouldn't be so bad if this was a beta or something, but this is sold as a full title.

I think the Main Development Effort was going into the VR Mode the Director Mode is rather a Side thing but i agree with you, though it looks like this could endup that you buying additional characters for extra it would be a typical sheme for these titles

Real, serious question: Why is it even possible... To build a game in a popular engine... Using a PC... Then ONLY feature VR headsets as the way to play the game? I use Unreal Engine, I'm aware that you can change the input parameters and customize them elaborately. But why leave out the rest of us? MOST people don't have a thousand dollar VR headset in addition to the money they've spent on their PC. Genuinely curious, not even complaining here. But as I think about the games I want to make I would do whatever I possibly I could to make a VR game accessible to general PC users or my product is soaring over the heads of the market majority.

Modern VR Games with presence on a flat 2D screen it wont work thus why the vrXcity creators decided for 2 Game Paths it makes absolute sense in those regards.
They have a multi path they splited it in 2 Applications 1 of it containing both paths.
Though they still could include more of the VR path into the Desktop Simulation path that would be no problem and should be done to give the Simulation path still more interactive freedom, it is way to linear currently and extremely scripted this way you never get the idea of being a Porn Director.
And if you want to make it really crazy you build the Next Generation Sims but with this in Mind other Adult focused Studios actually tried it in the past
