From what I've gathered he was supposed to be the first bull, which makes sense due to his connections to the Mafia main plot, something that hasn't even been mentioned in the game ever since, but most fans absolutely hated him, starting with his appeareance of a muscle man with a hair bun. It doesn't help that for that one update the game had a jarring change of tone with Geist being extremely hostile and antagonistic towards MC, even those who are paranoid about "true ntr" couldn't imagine something like that. So by the next update, Saxxy made Ammy give Geist a "the reason you suck" speech before kicking him out, then we got the wholesome beach arc to calm things down.
Honestly... its so damn realistic. Unintentionally the story had this guy who was a completely wrong fit. That happens so much in open relationships, that I am glad its actually here... cause it... well frankly just adds to the narrative that people who are assholes to the hubby, or the wife are kicked out for good.
That might've not been intended by wow it actually adds to both characters and the MC not being a complete pushover.

Honestly its WAY overused in these types of game and it's pretty boring in my opinion.
I mean at the end of the day it should be primarily focused on the Wife and Husband and their shared fetish. I do not care about the bull. He's just there for physical stuff for the wife.

I think deviousstorm has a point. That 'slice of life' added a lot of depth to the story. Maybe a lot, maybe even most of you, play through just to get to the CGIs and have a quick fap. Personally, the writing is an essential part. I don't need the so-called 'bulls' to be side characters, but they should have enough character/personality that it plays the ball into our couple's metaphorical court. As of now, the two characters to engage sexually with Ammie haven't been taking command to any greater extent, and without intending to spoil, I believe (and somewhat hope) this bull will be more in that direction.

I don't think the bull should be a blank slate, and I certainly don't think the bull being dominant towards the couple by itself is bad, but the hostility Geist displayed wasn't hot, it was off putting. Maybe seeing it now, after so many updates and knowing Ammy kicks him out and he apologizes, it gives a different vibe, but playing the original as it was released, it ended on a sour note, there was no nuance to Geist, he was simply an asshole.

Just cause we goon don't make us not able to see it as a work or piece that can't be criticized. I think Porn / Erotica stuff should at least have a standard. We all would rather have good experiences. If this same community can produce something like Vulgar Reverie we can at least analyze where it is going, can get better, and also talk about the subject like adults.
I had a friend who writes erotica professionally (actually pretty ludcrative), and the whole point is that they learn from their audience.
This is also bascially just an erotica novella we are all watching progress. I hope the author tackles the mafia mob boss stuff in the future. Cause I actually really like that as a plot thread. And doesn't just get forgotten. Though I am also of the opinion we need another female character at some point... especially that makes moves on the MC or something idk maybe not in the cards.
I liked it tbh how giest turned out since it set the tone for her devotion to her husband.
What are you talking about? The whole point was that he was *not* simply an asshole. He was being overprotective, and trying to test if the husband was for real or if he was just trying to degrade her (in asking her to sleep with other men). He couldn't wrap his head around how it could be anything but the latter, which is understandable. When confronted, he apologized and was remorseful. That's more nuance than any of the other characters have had so far. Especially the coworker and so far Brandon, who both just seem to be casual harassers. Their motivations are blatantly clear - they are just trying to take advantage of Ammie because they see her as simply a hot piece of meat.

I liked Giest more than the beach stuff bc I'm not a wuss!
I mean I don't really see it that way, the other character is pretty clearly told what not to do. And because it was someone she knew. she felt a bit betrayed by him is how isaw he. He was shouted down pretty extensively.

Could be cool to have the imaginary session, and then re-use it with slightly different dialogue for real to have the MC go "this is just as I dreamed of!"
And of course lessening the workload of our artist a little bit*
