NTS actions are not complete without the wife having sex with the husband after. The act of reclaiming your spouse after she has sex with another person is necessary. Shows they are both in this adventure together. If one is just having sex and the other is left out then it's not really a true NTS situation. Not considered romantic or as romantic as sharing can be.

Even if true that NTS "requires" the reclaiming aspect (which I don't necessarily agree with, not against it, just think it's not a strict requirement) from the perspective of developing the game this is simply not a good call, each update has a limited amount of cgs and like GyaruSaki said people are here to Amelia have sex with others, not her husband. A reclaiming scene once in a while is okay, but after every time she has sex with others is simply not feasible.

Very early in the game, MC is eating out Amelia's pussy and she teases him with: "What if I had been with another man just before?" and MC's response is to get even more aroused, so a (most likely optional) cleanup scene in the SUB path is very natural.

Agree with things like this. That's why I feel like these always go downhill quickly is the author loses touch with the heart of the genre and why the wife is doing what she does. If clear preference for her husband isn't demonstrated, and not off screen, then it kind of defeats the purposes.
I wouldn't call it toxic yet, no, though this update was too short to say much. We don't know what happens after she gets back. If there is no proper touching base with husband again when she gets back, and she goes straight to the next guy, with similarly little communication about the details, then I think it'll start feeling that way.
No one else seems to have mentioned in this thread, but I still keep thinking about how weird it is that there's been no mention of a condom since the vacation. I replayed the new scene just to double check, and she goes from blowing him to riding him, with no allusion to him putting a condom on, even though we see he did have one after he comes. Feels like the writing forgot about it. From the POV of the husband I think this should be a more prescient thought. It's also fodder for building up tension, and fueling his delusions.
Yup. It failed to understand what a complete nts encompasses and took any control or illusion of it the player/mc had away and plot armored to enjoy it so it "technically" is good, which is toxic writing. If so much as you were given a choice in the dialogue like before that would have been a difference maker but it feels like the effort in writing is going down. There's little difference between routes anymore and the difference in dialogue matters, at least to people like me who would see that last scene and think it's time to divorce. I think it started when the tan guy at the vacation forced himself on her for a second round and the couple both relented and came to it. What should have happened was like with geist where one or both rip him a new one for over stepping boundaries. Cuz you can see clearly how hard and fast it escalates with no difference in dialogue, the husband is being portrayed as a beta cuck and the wife is happy to fuck other men because she doesn't respect her husband anymore is the direction it is going. I know ppl talk about how nay sayers are too sensitive or too vanilla but it's a common trajectory when you don't keep the writing on theme, your theme changes. All the author has to do is sufficiently end each chapter on a positive note between the couple and to give the mc more agency and the fmc a set in stone focus on entering the dynamic to please her husband.
None of what she did builds up tension, just unnecessary anxiety that she needs to run damage control over but it's supposed to be fine because the writing tells you you're supposed to like it.

once again just type you want a vanilla route, nothing in this update did anything to move the game from nts the mc (who you aren't) told he wife to sleep with men so she did nothing else happened. Stop self inserting so hard
Don't mind this guy I'm glad the dev doesn't listen to them if this was about to be vanilla it would have been the most boring experience ever but the game is moving in good direction right now and the scenes are keep getting hoter and hotter
