We don't need to slow down the game just so we can have another part of vanilla, the whole point of netorase is seeing your wife/gf fuck someone. There is a reason why Marina is still one of the pinnacle of this genre. It hit every NTRS trope, from establishing their bond to Marina basically pulling all the different ways she can tease the mc.

Overall VR is still better than the majority of the current NTRS VN here considering most of them are milking the ever living shit out of MC x FMC

Seriously it's getting boring with your obsession with some weird reassurance crowd or whatever you mean. Just skip this update and play after this one its really not that difficult.

Is dev having their own free will completely alien concept? Could it be he wants the game to be bit more than just Amelia jumping on stranger cock in every update. Maybe he wants the characters have bit more to them than MC's fetish. Just because other games turn the FMC into slave whose only purpose in life is to satisfy MC's fetish doesn't mean VR has to do it.

Honestly I find it bizarre that the couple aspect should be treated like footnote after it has been established at the start in NTS material. In 20 page comic sure but this is long project and you need "breaks" from the NTS or it ends up being stale and repetitive process with no impact whatsoever.

Just wanted to point out that this is untrue. Most NTS VNs almost always have rushed beginnings with little couple buildup. It is perhaps *the* biggest issue with NTS stories, broadly. Usually it's 10 minutes of setup until the MC tells her he has the fetish, and cut to the next scene where she is jumping on stranger dick, and that's what she does most of the game, with scraps of husband and wife content. VR took the better approach in this sense.

I know these updates come out slow so some people may be forgetting, but the vibe of the story was extremely couple focused until the vacation arc. Lots of communication, constant reassurance and boundary checking, and then culminating in first time sex with a stranger while holding hands with the husband - you couldn't get any more couple focused than that. The story being couple focused isn't a sudden change based on backlash, it's just how the game has been from the beginning. If anything, it's drifted away from that a bit since the business trip, with the couple having had considerably less communication and shows of affection since then.

I'm talking about the current wave of NTRS ai games here like Blurring the wall, MNGF and etc all have very slow burn. I should have clarified better.

Wrong. The wholesome beach arc was in response to the backlash against Geist. Just like this "100% wholesome" update is in response to the backlash against the so called "rape scene" with Brandon.

I am, it's the reason I paused my patreon subs for VR. Also it's a forum, I can express my discontent with the upcoming version considering it's the main reason I paused my sub to Sax's patreon.

Ofcourse you can, but your allegation without proof is tiring. You would think the last 3 or 4 updates where all Leon focused the way some people here crying.

Yeah Idk where that is coming from, that screams "I don't talk to other people or read peoples opinions on here."

Its pretty obvious that Geist was just not a fit, and the author realized after releasing "Oh yeah this guy kind of sucks."

A lot of the problems with a lot of NTR / NTS is that people assume women like bullies or jerks when that is not true at all.

If anything I am fine with slowing it down a bit, cause jumping from someone you barely know as a player we need the time to set up the character and honestly a lot of people here are just not used to slower pacing. When most of these NTR games just skip straight to the sex when honestly the best games on here take a while to get there.

And I've said it before if you think there isn't enough content, just wait between updates.

Maybe for you, but i see it that way compare it with other fan favorite Netorase games like Indecent Wife Hana etc, how many Netorase scene had these game in the first year in development? Maybe then you would see that 2 Netorase scenes especially in the first year are pretty good compared to other Netorase games and it will most likely get even better. So yeah i think the pace is perfectly fine in Vulgar Reverie.
