Not sure if it was posted here before but dev not that long ago said that he intends to shorten time betweem updates( 3 weeks for update) while keeping same amount of art per update, its kinda hard for me to imagine it working, especially since he said that he recently got promotion at work and because of that he has more responsibiltiies and tasks.
Here is exactly what he said:
"Hi everyone,
Firstly, I have something exciting to announce, Patreon announced last month that you can finally have "Teams" on Patreon, so Karman is now officially part of this page, can interact with everyone and make posts too!
Say hello to Karman in the comments everyone!!
Secondly, we wanted to discuss the game version release schedule and how it's progressing.
Right now, the current working method we have I would say is not working (at least for me)! I recently got a promotion at work which is great of course, but also I have been given a lot more responsibility and tasks to do, which routinely involves many days of overtime working late into evenings. I'm currently finding it hard to balance working on Vulgar Reverie on a roughly 5-6 week per release schedule and stressing about reaching deadlines and often crunching to reach them.
So, what Karman and I have decided is to have slightly shorter length-wise, but more consistent releases of VR. Instead of the 5-6 weeks per version, it would be 3 weeks but have the same amount of art in them from Karman's side!
It might seem like less time would be worse for me in terms of work load, but actually the plan is to have help in terms of the putting in the posing, sounds, backgrounds etc to each version so that I can focus purely on what I enjoy the most, writing out the story, HScenes and coding!
As for V0.16, we need a little bit more time to work on it, but I promise I'll have the release date very soon! We'll hopefully have another animation added to it, too!
Thank you so much for all the support so far, it means everything to us.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
