The pacing of the game currently doesn't bother me much. Not because it's great or anything. But because 90% of AVN's. especially western ones, suffer from the same issue.
Almost every game with a chapter/update based development cycle eventually ends up with the issue of every update feeling so self contained from the previous updates it throws off the pacing. It doesn't become noticeable until you start a new run. So people who just play the new updates will probably never notice.
This game is far from the worst offender. But with it being nts, the start/stop pacing is more noticeable because of how important pacing is to the genre.
I honestly don't know how Saxxy could really solve the issue either if they felt like it was a problem. Adjusting the pacing to flow better throughout the entire game would be better when it's finished. But doing that now would make each update end abruptly or feel flat. Which is awful for a business model revolving around monthly subs.
Personally don't think it's a big enough issue currently for Saxxy to worry about.
