probably true, "lets em say what they want, we just gonna enjoy this piece of cake"lol i bet the update is already out and none of the patrons wanna post it bc of all the bitching here
@Joshua Tree You should definitely play this game, you would be very happy afterwards that you were dragged hereActually, majority of these creators doesn't just sit at home, they got school, work whatever else of rl next to creating these games. Majority of these creators doesn't make a ton of money over it either. Also Patreon income is not free cash, its tax able income.
If you want to support someone, then support them if you don't then just don't. It's that simple. If people think its such a great cash cow to make these kinda games, then everyone stand free to start make them right? Nothing keep you back from cash in on that sweet patreon money right? So when is your next game coming out GenSugi? Free will is a wonderful thing, because no one forces you to pay a single nickle to someone you don't want to support.
And now I got dragged into another thread about a game I'm not even playing, about the same old; milking, scamming, bullshit that keep go on and on into every damn thread just about. Sigh @yandex brrrr!
Look, patreon ins't a subscriber service. It's just a monetizing platform. It doesn't promote, nor advertise your shit. That is the creator's own responsibility. What a creator promise, isn't law bidding. It's just a promise, and if they break their word, then stop support them if you feel cheated. I'm sure you had fun up til that point right? Because end of the day there was a reason you started support (if you did).
you are quite wrong, this is not 100% piracy. it has open registrations, the site can be easily searched via google, many of the games are put here by devs and some of those devs do not even have a patreon site. when a site is dedicated to piracy, they do not have open registrations, they do not let google even know the site exists, they don't allow devs to post things there cuz they keep it secret and only for members they know. This is 100% a piracy site. The devs that make this place a spot for public releases are simply joining and incorporating this site as a place for increased support.
there are ppl, asshats we call them, who will use their credit card to pay for vip access on a site and once their level has changed, they then do a chargeback to get their money back. of course for some idiotic reason they don't expect the site will find out, but at $40.00 a pop yea the site does find out. so they get banned their ip dropped into a blackhole and then they come to irc crying about it. so yea i can see that someone would stop their pledge. btw out of all of those we've had only 4 were actually stolen cards and that's why the chargeback. Many people assume he will release it in april for money..
But that kinda confuses me, why would people stop their pledge once he releases the game?
If you just want to pay once for the game, wouldn't you wait with the pledging until the update is released? oô
I mean, you can read the header of the patreon-only posts so you can guess what they are about even without pledging..
I really don't understand that reasoning, sorry =/
is the 3rd face an ahegao face? You know, there's a japanese proverb that entails everyone has 3 faces:
The first face you show the public, your peers, teachers, coworkers, bosses, etc...
The second face you show your friends, close friends, family, loved ones, significant others...
The third face you show NO ONE.
My first acts of piracy (yaarrrr!) took place with cassette tapes and 5.25 disks. Doing mostly the copying from friends. Then later through modem and BBS's. Then internet came and killed off the BBS scene. Internet did open up for a copious ways to pirate and copy stuff. Piracy is piracy, 100% or not. Torrent sites, public, private. Whatever. This site is dedicated to free sharing (read: piracy) of adult games and related. Some creators frown on sites like this and don't want anything to do with them, others doesn't necessary embrace them but knowledge their existence and still use them as a way to interact with fans of their work that could possible become supporters of theirs regardless.you are quite wrong, this is not 100% piracy. it has open registrations, the site can be easily searched via google, many of the games are put here by devs and some of those devs do not even have a patreon site. when a site is dedicated to piracy, they do not have open registrations, they do not let google even know the site exists, they don't allow devs to post things there cuz they keep it secret and only for members they know.
this is just a forum that has some piracy but not as much as you believe.
I feel for you guys. Is it really difficult to suspend Patroen donations? I don't use Hulu very often BUT they make it easy to suspend your account for 6 months. We're waiting for A Handmaids Tale to return before we re-activate it.Me as a supporter, just feel kinda cheated right now..i though you said it will be out before weekend..where is the update??
Yeah it so hard to login to Patreon and either cancel or pause your pledge. Terrible hard. The hardest issue is to make sure you do it before monthly renewal, because you might have to check with your calendar to manage. All those dank basements with no sun light. Hard to keep track of the days you know (This was meant ironically. In case the obvious had to be stated).I feel for you guys. Is it really difficult to suspend Patroen donations? Having said that, W.A. is a really good story IMHO, so I'll patiently wait for it.
problem is more related to authors who do jack shit for months on patreon with no real progress eg: cloud nimbusI feel for you guys. Is it really difficult to suspend Patroen donations? Dude, anyone supporting that dog pile Cloud Meadows after the story with "Breeding Season" deserve everything they get, or rather doesn't get.... reallyproblem is more related to authors who do jack shit for months on patreon with no real progress eg: cloud nimbus
at that point you're just paying someone free money with nothing to get in return.
not yet i think it'll be added later onCame across this game on svscomics where one of the tags on there mentioned impreg/preg content. Is this the actual case or have I been horribly misled?
Agreed and calling him trash isn't gonna get you what you want....its bullshit like that drives devs away and causes them to lose interest in their game development. If you don't support the dev.....keep your mouth shut if you have nothing constructive to say because you have absolutely no right to bitch...this is a pirate site and you are getting the game for free ffs. Shit happens and the devs do have lives to live. There is absolutely no need for personal attacks in this forum.
Fine, you may be unhappy that the game you want hasn't been released yet, that doesn't give you the right to be unpleasant.
Let's keep it civil.
Not everyone knows about that shitstorm, mind you.Dude, anyone supporting that dog pile Cloud Meadows after the story with "Breeding Season" deserve everything they get, or rather doesn't get.... really
