So I've laid out my command structure for the Waifu Academy war based on my predictions. I took a couple of liberties by including Kayane and Haruka but I think the former definitely has the potential to be a strong ally and the later's will is already collapsing when it comes to the MC and she's also showing her better side.

I believe my lieutenants will be the key to my victory as they all have direct involvement with the clans and already have a lot of skin the game, so to speak. Avanti!

Hello everyone!

Spring update is on his way, we are working everyday to bring it to you as fast as possible!
Our new recruit Max already does wonder with 3D rendering, some of you could notice his work in the last render pack reward.
The Spring update overall progress is around 65% , It's one of the biggest update we made, with new places, new characters, new outfits, many new choises, Karma option and the 'conclusion' of Tomoe arc etc...

Recruiting new people to work with me accelerate Update release, increase quality and content, wich is pros for you
However it has a financially cost for me, and unfortunatly we are bleeding the 3$ pledge to "Free members" a lot since Patreon came with that...
The 3$ per month support was essential for us! I will be honest we lost almost half of the incomes, and it hurt us badly... While our motivation remains intact, if the Free members bleeding isn't reversed, it will become very difficult for us to keep up with great content.

So Im making this poll to understand and know what would make Free members to support us.
I need your honest answer (please only Free members should vote.)
I welcome any advice in the comment section.

I will be honest we lost almost half of the incomes, and it hurt us badly... While our motivation remains intact, if the Free members bleeding isn't reversed, it will become very difficult for us to keep up with great content.

It's not like he has done anything worth of mentioning for this game in couple years now. How much more difficult can the "great content" creating become, instead of doing once a year updates he switches to once every two years? He is saying "free members" is hurting him financially, when in reality what is hurting him financially is just his lack of work and content from few years now.

I would have made Takamura a captain because she is loyal to the MC ,Kayane is a confusing character for me so far , i am on my second playthrough and i can't understand her completely....

In the 5 years I've been using this site, I've downloaded and played new content from this one twice. It was a couple of irl days of new stuff each time and I do actually like what's there, but it would take at least doubling their output for me to bother pirating it more often, let alone becoming a patreon.

Elizabeth - She's bonded to you mind, body and soul. Timid nature is falling away. A contender.

Shelia though fucked the whole competition on HoneyBee , she is loyal sure but she is volatile as well,Kaori is someone that the MC can count on , at least to have his back same as Shelia and Takamura, Minami seems to be controled yet she is naive...and we say that on the night incident in the train, she was seconds away to be raped...In my opinion Asuka is craving for love, because she has a weird relationship with her mom....

Harada serves the principal to much to turn, Tochiro is following Kenichi because he is afraid and because Kenichi is rich, same goes for Katsuya, he follows him because he is rich...He won't make Kenichi his enemy just for Elizabeth...

Harada is quite pissed off at his treatment by the principal plus he almost fell over himself in pleasure at a few tiny compliments from Minami. Kenichi almost lost it on the beach and defied Kenichi's birthday party summons. Katsuya is about the money with Kenichi but that's just because he's bored. If he was tempted by a some real action he's leave rich boy sitting on his own thumb.

Sure Harada is not happy but he gives me the vibes of a simp type of guy so i wouldn't put it past him that if Principal become more seductive to him and more lovey dovey with him to pull him back in ...Tochiro tried to prove that he has balls and brain and that he is not just a yes men type of guy by ditching Kenichi's party...as for Katsuya sure he seems kind of a legit guy but so far he does every dirty job Kenichi orders him to...

It honestly blows my mind how people can find more and more ridiculous ways to complain. Usually, when you do something for long enough, you get better at it. Not worse. Here's a hint for you... the more variables you have to track, the more work it takes. Get it now?

In general, you are right. But I don't think this applies to this game. For 95% of its length the number of tracked variables throughout the game is... ZERO. And recently were added... how many? Karma and... Is there something else that came up in last update? This has no impact at all in development complexity. Even less considering there have always been tracked variables within the scope of a single scene.

The user you were replying to was 100% correct. When you repeatedly work in something, you get better at it. And Irph hasn't gotten better. Not even at milking. He's been living for long off the charismatic characters and interesting and funny narrative he created in the earlier releases of this game. Everything before 0.8 I'd say. But it seems that the effect of that initial charm is starting to wear off finally.

Irph doesn't create sexier, funnier, more mysterious or in any other way more engaging scenes now than before. And, actually, he worsened some character designs for no reason, went way overboards with internal monologues of endless pop culture references that aren't particularly well placed nor paced, stalled the progression of the story with lots of random scenes because... tracking variables is hard fanservice, I hope. Though I doubt it because the general sentiment I could gather is people wants Mom, Kayane and Motoko not otaku, otaku and more otaku stealing the show like he ran out of other ways to maki things funny and at the same time ruining Otaku's character by getting players to hate him.

He's been so, so lazy for the past years. Hopefully he'll find some new motivation to put some work into this game now that he's losing patreons.

Every character, trait, scene, line of dialog, piece of lore and interaction with another character is a variable you have to track. Every new line you write has to support and seamlessly mesh with what you've already done. The OP specifically commented (and it's that comment to which I've been replying) about how project development time should be shorter rather than longer as you "get better". I've been a developer, dba and server admin for 25 years and his comment does not reflect my experience.

Additionally, and I've said this, my comments are not specific to this or any author. I was simply responding to his statement about skill vs long dev times. Peace man.
