i m stuck in the prologue "realize how poor mage are you"
i have no directions other than remove the game

i like the artstyle of the game, but i dislike the gameplay and unclear directions i have no idea what i m doing wrong if i m doing anything else than clicking locations....
i think game was intended to be played exactly as developer invisioned in his dumb head and expected me to repeat exact the same button presses or fail???
im basically stuck after taking some test

game is basically unplayable for me.
after prologue, no matter which quest i try to start, or object i try to interact with, the final line of text will not go away, preventing me from returning to the sandbox styled gameplay.... i know ive played this before in the early stages, but now its just sad...

More of a wanderer: broken game, lmao.
I could write lots of words, but there is no point in doing this. The game is just broken. You will encounter multiple bugs on EVERY stage of the game. And when you do - most likely you will need to go to a nearest save file. Ah, I almost forgot, there is some entropy to them too. With every new update, you WILL see new bugs in a places they weren't before. So yeah, enjoy, brave one.

    v0.10 REMASTERED Part II

This game feels buggy. I'm not sure if it is, but it never prompted for name even if it probably was supposed to ("Hi, my name is Player" everywhere), the quest guide was always a step or two ahead of whatever you were supposed to do, the navigation tutorial was pretty much "blind guess which button takes you to auditorium, I'll let you know if you get it right"... The MC went to a 0 minutes sleep a few times (???), then there comes a sex scene (with not much instruction on how they operate, but that wasn't hard to figure out)... and it is then night and you're supposed to head to lecture in morning. Some blind guessing led me to the clock, and nothing happened at 06:00... Moving clock to 12:00 on auditorium made... the results of a test?? At that point I was already fed up with the game, and it wasn't even twenty minutes (15 minutes fiddling with interface, trying to figure out where tf things were).

Lets ignore stuff like Codex button doing nothing, save button giving no feedback whatsoever (but working, at least, with a single slot), combat apparently possible with a button in the HUD... Except it made no sense at all; what was that button for? Where am I? So yes. If they can't be bothered to make a half-decent prologue, why should I be bothered to play it without a walkthrough? At this point you need the walkthrough for basic operation. Hard pass.

Note: First time playing this game, there's obviously no "previous data" the other reviews mention. I can't understand how anyone can get past the first day. The bugs and issues gave me nightmares IRL. If you haven't downloaded this one yet, don't bother, you'll only stress yourself.

    v0.2 Dungeons & Girls

Eh, it is decent, just extremely buggy. Nothing ground-breaking nor anything. I had some minimal fun (because I like card games), at least until a bug showed up and made impossible to finish the game.

Would love to have tried this one but i ran into constant bugs that just made it impossible, first time i got stuck after a reload doing alchemy when it loaded the game theres nothing to do nothing to click so just 100% stuck, i could only click the clock but wait button wasent showing but could click it still, not that it did anything....

Then i started new game and got clean room quest but room was half clean from what i did in the first game where i got stuck.....
Tried to exit the game and start it up then managed to finish cleaning room somehow...but next LI that talked to me had 0 text and MC had 0 text so the hole dialog was ???

Then i checked quest log and there was nothing there what so ever so i just gave up, it was way to big a mess for me to even play it.

Also the transission between screens when moving around takes forever which was also annoying since your forced to click your way around none stop since the quest "help" dosent tell you fuck all, like first quest clean your room...sure now how the fuck do you do that? well move around map blind find a mob and broom and hammer in 3 diffrent locations....its an awfull waste of time when you dont even get help from quest log.

Girls looks great and would loved to have seen something...anything....but yeah never got past the very start so cant really rate anything since i saw close to nothing but a extremly bugged game.

Also saw it had the harem tag? why on earth put that one a game where you can ONLY have endings with a single girl? how does that make sense to anyone?

Oh and the UI is pure shit, save works like shit and remembers old stuff even when you start a new game? no save slots or load slots either, and no skip button.

    2024-03-26 steam demo version -

soooooo much dialog right at the start, like even spam clicking it took way longer than non-skipped starting dialog should.

also very unclear where to go, I get a quest to "attend potion class" or something, with no indication of where that is. I try to brute force going to every location, and enter a room that replays the super long dialog & resets the day somehow.

Somehow enter a combat with someone I've never met, zero instructions on how combat works. definitely feels like content was skipped.

Not realistically playable in it's current state imo.

Man, this game is such a letdown. I remember playing it early on when it was released on itch.io and the prologue really drew me in. It seemed like the perfect game to just relax and enjoy. But no, the game was filled with bugs and the story didn't really go anywhere. And let's not forget how two of the main love interests were part of a DLC for this game, where they had sex with old men which then in turn shows why they hate eachother in the main game. Now, I don't have a problem with characters having a sexual past, expecting every woman to be virgins is ridiculous. But out of all the things the developers could have come up with, they chose that, fucking old men? It completely turned me off from the game. However, I still went back every now and then to see if there was any progress and if the game had gotten any better. Well, the answer is both yes and no. The developers did fix a good amount of game-breaking bugs, but there are still so many essential things that haven't been fixed yet. I also discovered that a lot of content is locked behind paywalls, which I think is dumb. I mean, this game is supposed to be free with people supporting the developers. It's fine to have special rewards for patrons and those who fund the game, but to have sexual content locked behind money? That's a major red flag. Still, I do hope that one day this game will be finished because the developers have shown that they can make decent games and see them through. Wanderer is their biggest project so far, and I really want the final product to be enjoyable. Overall, I don't think this game is worth playing right now, but maybe in the future it could be.

the art style is fantastic, and the witty dialogues always keep me entertained
despite the fact that when I choose dialogues, I always try to open h-scenes, I feel like I'm getting closer to the characters and getting attached to them haha

also! I'm in love with the recent additions of the new bunny and badger girls  hope to see more of them

The game is basically a rip-off of The Familiar of Zero but with shitty writing (or even shittier if you don't like FoZ writing). I know it's an H game so I shouldn't expect anything amazing but this is a VN-esque game, so writing IS important, at the very least decent writing is needed to hook the players to the game. It's generic, and almost nothing is great or even noteworthy. The only saving grace is the art but even then it's nothing special, but it's covered in bugs and paywall that it made it not worth playing for only 'em.

The biggest sin is the lack of HAREM content in the game marketed or teased as a HAREM game. Like, why?

    Not even worth a try.
  10. 1.00 star(s)

    harem.king

    v0.5
    +art is good
-plot is just ripoff of FoZ... (more of a premise than a plot really)
    -very buggy
    -minigames
    -grind
    -annoying paywalls
    -walkthrough dependant
    -falsely labeled as harem game

On initial release it was familiar of zero.
2nd release changed it into "legally distinct original IP" that is almost familiar of zero but they changed all the names and hair colors.

Since then the game was expanded... but instead of getting the Harem content we were initially teased with we got peeping at other men getting laid, MMF threesome, Futa, minigames, and bugs. Such a disappointment.
Even if the game caters to your fetishes it is too grindy, minigamey, buggy, and has far too much time wasted per sex scene.

After replaying this game 3 times I have to give this game a big fat 1 star.. The locked gallery scenes I have concluded are locked to Patreon only but the developer hides this by not marking it as Patreon only. I have made different choices and not unlocked a single new scene! So for the free you will see SHIT for scenes..

Avoid this game this developer uses scummy tactics.

    1. Patreon scenes only locked and not marked Patreon only
    2. Walkthru only available for those who will pay them $10/month by the time they release this game you will have Several hundred dollars into it! Scummy tactics only $10 tier gets it this is scummy!

Easier to sum up why by the simple cons and pros weight below.

    CONS:
    1. Bug exit anywhere and appear at court yard - FIXED
    2. Bug quests won't flag as finished or trigger so impossible to play - FIXED
    3. No Quick Save/Quick Load options
    4. Save is awfully implemented - IMPROVED
    5. Items collected do not disappear for example owl feather - FIXED
    6. Even after seeing text it just repeats text even when it no longer pertains. So laziness in dialogue
    7. N/A in latest release
    8. No Skip (so have to keep clicking through text you already read to see if there was anything new!) - NOT FIXED
    9. No rollback since you clicking so fast to get through repeated text tend to fast forward what you have not seen because you accidentally clicked on next dialogue option - NOT FIXED
    10. Quest tips do not even work half the time as you get quests out of order and can't proceed until you find the quest your missing - NOT FIXED
    11. Half to set how long you want to sleep every damn time you go to bed can't just say sleep to midnight or sleep to morning! - NOT FIXED
    12. Scenes take too much time to play through and you can't progress until you watch about 20 seconds of the same scene to get some new dialogue. Scenes should be able to be interrupted so you can get to the dialogue 20 seconds of watching same scene gets boring fast. - NOT FIXED
    13. You have 4 damn books on you for the quest and can't read a single one of them! At end of quest you get to pick ONE and only ONE. Library is useless might of just made it a damn research center as the only thing you do there is talk to the one lady. - NOT FIXED
    14. Potion classes seem to be useless it is not used at all except in the one potion quest. Even than you get the potion but do nothing with it! It does not even show in inventory - NOT FIXED
    15. Bathhouse has NOBODY in there but if you look in there says people are taking a bath! Too lazy to draw anything that resembles a bathhouse in use - NOT FIXED
    16. Half the items you get DO NOT EXIST! Collect panties no panties in inventory, Get Maid Apron not in inventory, Get Stockings not in Inventory. If they don't exist than why tell us we are getting these items as we can't even look at them.

    PROS:
    1. Good Art (but only a few might as well be a damn demo unless you pay them $10/month)
    2. Good Story but slow progress
    3. Some decent background music and occasional sound
    4. Some decent animation even if they take too long to watch them
    5. Forget that it's a damn porn game if you are not paying this dev $10 because it's only has a few damn scenes otherwise.

The few fixes bring it to average at best so updated the star by one point.

Hello, I would like to share my thoughts about Wanderer broken bed.
    1) The plot in the game is not very good yet. The main character got into a new world and everyone perceives it as a sign of something bad. In order to understand everything (yes, there is nowhere to go anyway), we are accepted as students and we begin to study at the Cunningham Academy.
    2) Characters. I liked all the characters (Especially Vanessa and Cruella). All of them are quite diverse. So far, we know little about them, but I think as the plot develops, they will be very interesting to watch.
    3) The gameplay consists of 3 things: completing character quests, a potion lesson and dungeons.
    1. Through quests, we are introduced to the world and characters. I liked Cruella quest (A magical interview) the most, and all the quests are pretty good. ask in the discord channel.
    2. The potion lesson is a Match 3. I haven’t played such a mini-game for a long time, it’s cool, but it gets boring quickly, there are few levels, but I think in the development process they will add new levels and new mini-games.
    3. Dungeons are a card RPG. There are 4 dungeons in the game so far. I got into the combat quite quickly. It's cool. As for dungeons, I have a feeling that 1 and 3 dungeons are more difficult than 2 and 4. Maybe it was intended or it will still be fixed.
    4) The graphics are pleasant in the game, the interactive insert at the beginning of the game is very cool. The graphics are at a very high level.
    5) 18+ Content. Here it is represented by Cards (which are issued after passing the dungeon) and Hentai scenes. There are no questions here, everything is done well
The game is still in development, so there is not much content yet, but I liked the game, I will wait for new updates

Passed all available content in the game (0.5) and I'm ready to share my impressions of the game.

Art/Animation 5/5 - The quality of the artwork in this game is really amazing. The characters and backgrounds are detailed, the artists and animators did a good job.

Story ?/5 - From what I have seen, there is a prologue that introduces us to the new world the hero enters, we talk to the characters, doing quests gradually learning their stories. But as long as the main plot is missing it's hard to appreciate.

Gameplay 4/5 - The game positions itself as Point & Click we need to find something and click in the right place. There are also mini-games are Dungeon and Match 3, which will diversify your gameplay, the character gets levels and experience for completing quests, for this you can learn new skills that will be useful when you next go to a dungeon. If you have problems completing the quests there are always hints.

I would recommend this game if you want to play a non-trivial visual novel with good art and animation, and hot h-scenes. I'll keep an eye out for future updates and hope the developers work on the bugs to make the gameplay more interesting.

P.S. Devs, please add new girls with animal ears in the plot!

    Introduction to the game
Amazing start menu, with some splendid animations. We get an amazing cinematic cutscene which would of taken a lot of time to take, and it has amazing visuals. After that we are given our immediate expectations of character art and then after that we are met with an amazing gallery scene to see what the erotic art will look like, and I will say the introduction to the game is helpful in telling you what it's gonna be like. And it hasn't even introduced to you the rest of the game.

The Quest system can be hard to understand sometimes, but it gives you hints to help you along the way. The map is lovely to see, and the characters even moreso as you explore that there are more than just the mains, you have side characters, and extra roles in your game, with interesting qualities and interesting personalities.

Expanded systems such as the dungeons and the classes to give you more fun, especially since the dungeons will grant you access to more art content that can help you with your daily needs.

The general HUD supplements you with all you need, the stories of each character, the information. You also gain access to the gallery to redo some 'gallery' scenes if you wish and from the current looks of it, the HUD system is gonna be updated further.

I wish I could write more, but the game so far even for beginners has so much to show you and impress you with. I urge you to try it out even from an artistic perspective.

This is just unplayable. Bugs after bugs. Everything else is so vanilla, boring. The writing is weird and unintuitive. These Devs probably have never read a novel in their life. Or maybe they are not good at English. Then imagine trudging through all of that just to encounter more bugs...

As so many times in my reviews, I have to call this game a HUGE missed opportunity.

It has all foundations to be absolutely amazing, yet it fails in such a bizarre way.
It's got interesting story premise, great selection of girls, good setting, amazing art style and plenty of variety.

So let's start with the good:
    - Girls are hot - and decently varied in personality (this will also come as negative later)
    - Art is beautiful

    Now negatives:
    - Sandbox - Just sigh. If not for hint system, I'd rate it even lower. 99% of the time it's impossible to know where to go.
    - Quests - Find X ingredients. Find X books. Find X pieces of wardrobe. Find X pieces of rubbish (not making this one, actual quest!). So have fun clicking over and over looking for where stuff is.
    - Sandbox part 2 - Where are quests? Lord knows. Have fun clicking, clicking, clicking until you accidentally run into something.
    - Girls personality - What the hell? Game introduction: "You fell here, you're probably chosen one, we don't know what to do with you so learn magic with us". Literally next scene as you exit your room (no interaction with ANYONE at this point): "Ugh, I don't like you or how you act with other girls", "Ugh, someone stole my panties, I know it was you!". Keep in mind MC is in that world literally few hours, and ton of girls and people blame him for events he couldn't have done.
The only positive I can say here is MC outright says "I don't give a fuck about your world or your problems" in one of the convos. Words that are about the same as I felt at that point.
    - Girl quests seem to be one-and-done. You get a conversation with 3 options. Select wrong, quest ends immediately, no points, no resolution, no repeats.
    - Slay The Spire lite - Great idea. Horrible, horrible execution. It happens at the very start of the game (tutorial), then it's gone for hours, then all of a sudden there's a quest where it takes ton of time to finish it. It's slow, enemies have way too much health (thank heavens they hit like they're throwing pebbles so there's no risk of losing) and it's just not fun.
    - Everyone is acting like a jerk. Both girls, students (this part makes sense) and especially teachers. There are maybe 2-3 friendly characters, others just use MC for pointless errands while also throwing insults his way.
It was so bad I decided not to defend girl getting bullied since I genuinely couldn't care any less. An elitist bullying others being bullied by bigger elitist? Sure, have it at.

So overall, amazing foundations completely ruined by sandbox, lack of content (or more specifically, difficulty of finding any content), too many tsunderes, fetch quests with way too much clicking, slay the spire that needs serious rebalance, story that disappears immediately after tutorial (as in, story is GONE, it doesn't exist after intro) and few other issues.
Might take a look at it in few years, it's not lost hope, with some serious changes this can be amazing game.

Its wery interesting game, with cool style of draw. Its full of content, moreover, its coming on Android. I like Cruella more, its like a cat mommy. Hope this game will be updated, i want to know this story more!

    Great graphics, terrible experience...

Its really not clear which choices you should make in conversation and there is no back button, forcing you to reload often.

Its also not clear when and where youre supposed to pick up quests, or when youve done them all.

Sometimes you gain relationship points by missing out on a scene, really strange. I dont get it.

Story is good, graphics are good, but the game itself needs work.

I'd like to share my thoughts about this hentai game.

    Foreword:
From very beginning, our main hero, or as he's called the "Wanderer", finds himself in another world, where he settles down and makes new acquaintances with main characters of plot.

    1) Arts are one of advantages here! For those who like Japanese manga/anime, they willn't remain indifferent, I personally prefer this kind of drawing rather than comics, perhaps developers are in solidarity with me in this matter, therefore they specially draw in this style. Artists & Animators make excellent job <3

    2) Gameplay: most of tasks that we perform take place in format where we need to find something in the right place and time, but there are also mini-games that diversify gameplay. Some complain about quests, that it's not clear what conditions need to be taken into account in order to complete them, and at what time of the day to come to the location in order to activate a new quest, this is problem, many newbies can really get confused at the initial stages. Understanding this, devs have written walkthrough, perhaps this will be fixed in future builds. I'd like to see more unique quests and to make it easy clear how to complete them.

    3) The plot is now main story is almost absent, the main character falls into another world and that's it. There is a dialogue with prophecy and trip to dungeon where MC receives unique sword. Now there are only side quests, where we learn a little more about secondary characters, about their past (only some) and character, as well as about lore of this world.

    4) Bugs since the game is under development, now it's forgivable. Devs are releasing special updates (0.4.7a/0.4.7b, ...) to fix bugs, let's see how game will work on release.

Despite the cons, if devs implement all their ideas, for example: 1. announced dating sim; 2. plus add more mini-games; 3. replay value to gameplay; 4. make quests more understandable; then WANDERER will stand out among other games, I'd give this game a big chance. And recently they have started to release updates frequently, incl. fixing bugs. I'm looking forward to new updates!

    August 22, 2024 Review

Wow. The game changed from a broken product with some potential to just a broken product.

The remastering of this game has turned it from its previous playable state to a broken series of background transitions with a broken debug menu.

This is utter garbage, and I pity anyone who financially supported this waste of disk space.

    -----

I do not recommend this game.

The art and writing of the game itself are competently made, and the underlying premise and setting are both clear enough to expand from, but the actual mechanics of playing the game are fundamentally broken.

First problem occurs during the prologue, where I assume a tutorial battle is supposed to take place. Instead, it skips you ahead to after the fact, while characters actively discuss whatever was supposed to happen during the missing event. Coupled with the fact that I have not stumbled into more combat events since, I have to assume the advertised RPG combat component of this game is missing.

The point-and-click elements of the game are not much better. Subjectively, I'm not a fan of the design decision to have scene transitions take time as it encourages savescumming; Instead of wasting time clicking through the different areas, it's better to click through until you find what you need, then load the game and fast travel through the map so you only spend one transition worth of time.

Objectively, the game has too many bugs: The teacher npc in the dining hall has a conversation option that just softlocks the game; The nurse npc has conversation that causes her to leave the scene, but her image remains and is just unresponsive to player input; and most egregiously, I randomly stumbled onto what I assume is the concluding parts of a character quest between two dueling women that I have no context for.

The bugs range from minor to major, but the underlying conclusion is that it's better to just hold off on this until things get fixed.
