Ginny's "soul mate" is Harry, and thats not changeable. MC is her "Harry-Substitute", and MC knows that definitely.
Which means, MC can date her inspite of that, or break with her. All players choice, just fair. (Cheating game - LOL).

Have been reading through the posts here before starting my first playthrough and see all this talk of the girls getting it on with their canon love interests or other randos (even without the mc there should never be a RonXHermione pairing...PERIOD!!).
My question is how easy is it to avoid that happening? Is there an optimised path that allows you to romance the most female characters without any of them "cheating" on you? I have looked through the most up to date walkthrough and can't see any warnings or tips on how to prevent that happening but I could've missed something as I haven't exactly read it all
Don't think that this is me starting a debate on what is and isn't NTR by the way as I am sick of such discussions
Just want to know how to avoid it or even how to trigger it depending on what kind of playthrough I am planning

If your relationship with hermione already strong(max, lover status) and you didn´t take her to the ball date, she won´t have sex with the escorting NPC ( sex with escorting NPC only trigger when your relationship with Hermione are not strong and her relationship with NPC are stronger than you). Instead after the dance event finished and you´re done exploring Hogwarts you have a choice to meet your opposite sex love interest to have sex with her(including Hermione even if you took another girl to the date).

I think I was very clear, first the whole ginny crap cheating on the mc trying to rape Harry, now in this last update they show most all our Li's with others, I could care less about Lavender Brown but they show her, I like Astoria and Luna yet they fucked up in this update for me showing them with other dudes... Astoria is almost raped and the text let out much to be desired in what it says in that whole scene even if we prevent it... including the whole text about Luna,
anyway no point for me to debate about this because I lost any interest in this game, for me is clear the dev will keep making "content" like this in every update, it started with Ginny and it seems is expanding to all other Lis.

You will certainly see Lavender fucking and is unavoidable.
Anyway as I said after that Ginny crap, I'm not surprised with this dev doing it again, though this time I will just stop playing and ignore the game.

Yeah... whether you like the cheating or not (I personally don't) this game 100% needs the NTR and cheating tags. There is essentially zero indication anywhere in the guide or game that cheating can happen until it already does, and without the thread having those tags you get people (rightfully) upset by it.

So your whole beef is that you feel the NTR is forced. There's no harem route in this game; it'd be unmanageable.
Everything with Ginny has been explained both in-game and by the developer.
Can't say anything about Astoria as I never play the Male player character.
I've NEVER seen Luna with any one, much less some random dude.
Wen you pick an LI, you've got to make sacrifices.
See, I could maybe agree with Ginny's thing if Ginny's NTR was more explicitly told or hinted at in game as being a thing, but I felt like it came completely out of nowhere. Like it was obvious she had a crush on Harry, but wouldn't the expected result in a game with no NTR tag to be that she eventually falls for you instead as you date her? Instead you get cucked.
On top of that, (and maybe the thing that's most important) there simply isn't enough content with each individual character to justify being faithful. Like, if you only go after one character and nothing else you lose out on so much content and the game is pretty repetitive and boring. If each character had enough unique content to make pursuing monogamy meaningful, then I could see myself agreeing with you. Until this is changed, I really don't think adding any sort of cheating is a good idea.

If you're too slow in winning her, that's when and why you lose her to Harry. It's avoidable.
I will agree on one thing though. There should be an NTR (Avoidable) flag on this.
Is that the case? I know a year ago I focused on Ginny and completed her as soon as I could, but still eventually saw her doing stuff with Harry. Was this a glitch or somethings that's changed since then?
As for the facial expressions giving warning bells, I don't exatly think that by itself is near good enough, but agree to disagree I guess.
