It's always open. Go to the quidditch field in the afternoon or evening and you should see a small window in the upper left corner showing the image of another place. Clicking on that takes you to the park.

Never seen the option to go to the Quidditch field either. Does it show up at specific points in the story?

I am not sure if I am missing something but quest 25 is not triggering. I have already done quest 8 and havent done 9 like the guide says but nothing happens when I talk to Hermione. I am playing a female character but the game doesnt say anything about needing to be a guy, any help?
