Even on Gamer difficulty is really hard on fresh new game because some bosses are ridiculously hard to beat like I am struggling a lot dealing Weiss (after Sewer story finished) due Devs doing cheap tactics like he constantly dashed multiple time when doing attacks and some of his attacks are unblockable (sword-gun explosion, his finisher and his flamethrower/gun combo).

FYI, I fought him on level 40 and still struggling a lot against him even I modded the firearms to the max (all moddings unlocked) and it takes few retry until I can beat them with some lucks. I know this game is more dark-souls type, but the way Devs making it was underhanded most of times and if I playing on Light Difficulty (below Gamer), it was a total joke compared to Gamer difficulty because the difference is day and night.

Only when I beat Weiss, I decided to beat the Airsoft mini-games and modded all weapons (2nd and 3rd tabs, 1st tab excluded) to make story progress a bit easier to beat. I will play the Challenge and Inferno after beating Gamer 1st (no lower difficulty during mid-game for fair play).
Yeah I also got Skill Issued by Weiss 2nd fight and lost a couple of times (even as the grinder I am). SOME bosses here are MAGNITUDES more difficult compared to other bosses. I think my Walls were the first hobgoblin, then weiss 2nd fight, then duo hobgobs. The developer clearly knows his games are on the "sweaty tryhard" level for a H game and his games are known for being "difficult". The problem with GUNS is they don't feel organic, unlike comboes with skills (where you can build skill chain for decreased cost + increased damage). The guns feel like (fck this boss I will delete some HP off him). I'm sure a BETTER player will find a way to weave guns into their combo cycle but it feels clunky to do (I'm using keyboard and the dev recommends gamepad for this game). He really was a BITCH to fight since if you are not reliant on counters to make him a joke, then he will constantly aggro on you and you won't have enough time to attack back (need to break his break bar first which the best way to do is counters). At the very least on gamer you can have shit ton of heals with consumables (10 usage). Which may be enough to clench a win.

Also agreed that his inspiration for these games are apparent being inspired by games like sekiro/DMC games. Also the way lower difficulty works is it basically CULLS the game mechanics and disables some game mechanics on lower difficulties lol. So the balance like you said can go from (lower difficulties) to easy as breeze to (gamer/normal diff) being a steep wall that requires grinding/practice.

Weiss 2nd fight will be the Final "wall" so far in the story (duo hobgobs side quest aside). Since if you manage to beat that boss with the way the dev intended (parry/counter focused and comboes) then the other bosses will easily fold due to your mastery of instinct in terms of counter timing (as long as your level and gear is appropriate for the area).

There's a DIFFERENCE between BLOCK and parry/counter. Block basically is holding the button of counter. While counter is pressing the counter button at the right timing. Weiss and other bosses have GUARD breaking attacks (specially when he gets to half HP). There is a passive that grants you the ability to prevent guard breaks if that's your playstyle though, combined with the increased sp gain when blocking.

you guys have a good combo against the boss at the chapter 2 chapter 3, Viceroy?
against his explosion attack?
can i dodge the explosion if I time it w/ my ult when its about to explode?

playing on inferno and that shit feels impossible w/o ult, which he does again after I already spent my ult. mainly using Wheel 1,would swap to Wheel 2 for the better combo on a him when hes about to bust.

my guns arent upgraded much as well, except for Assult Rifle and Handgun, which dont really do enough damage.

hi hi. may i know how to edit money via mtool ?
coz i dont have any idea how to use mtool for wolf rpg type game
For wolf RPG games first backup whatever save file you are going to edit. Then launch the game through M tool and let it load up. M tool should load up and inject some files into the game. Load into the save you want to edit and then go back to M tool and click on the data-edit tab. Its all going to be in Japanese so use something like google lense to translate the screen through your phone. I usually look in the user or conf tab for the money value OR you can go to the items tab and give yourself 999 of whatever high value stuff and sell to venders.

Once you find what you want to edit click the data lock checkmark next to what you just typed and go back to the game and see if the items appeared. IF they did not appear go to another section of the stage ex exit a building and see if the inventory updated. IF it updated save the game and then close M tool and the game.

Go back to the game directory and you will see a folder that says save_mtool you will have to copy the edited save file from that folder back to the main save folder otherwise when you load up the game without M-Tool your saves will be missing.

Can anyone please clarify about how to increase the lust cap above 20? I've read through this thread looking for hints, and the only thing I've found is this comment on page 10: 'You need to go through some H stuff to get the title "Aching Body", which allows you to masturbate at night in your bed'. Ok, how much H stuff? Any particular kinds, or just total? Is it tied to achievements? I think some of my achievements are glitched out, like, one of them says "Lose your virginity", but I didn't get that achievement when that... happened. There's one achievement (just below "Hypno Maiden") that says I need 20 lust (already done) and to receive "Dense Desire" whatever that means. Is that associated with the aforementioned "Aching Body" title? If there's a guide to this game's H-achievements somewhere then I'd really like to see it, even if it's something I have to run through Google Translate. Thanks!

Dodge is idk, that is the Chapter 3 boss fight not chapter 2, the one at the top of the clock tower? Try parrying. Yes parry is harder in challenger/inferno than gamer but all moves are parryable in game. Since HE WILL spam his ultimate when he gets to half hp (idk if you're talking about his ult or just a normal move). Solely relying on your ult to cancel the move temporarily is setting yourself up to failure. That will also be EXTREMELY hard since you can't heal on inferno nor use any item in battle. So yeah... The only solution there is perfect timing the parry everytime to minimize damage...

after the Chapter 2 After the goblin patrol, you now have a man in the city who invites you into a carriage. Talk to him and you will receive the achievement to masturbate.
I just found this post from a couple of pages ago. Sounds promising... but I don't see a man in my game where your screenshot is showing. Is that where he's supposed to be? I'm in Chapter 3 now, did I straight up miss it? (Although I tried an older save and still don't see anyone there.)

The supreme arena fight (finale) is peak combat fight for this game (hardest fight). You need to really optimize your skills and equipment to beat it. I only beat it on gamer (medium/normal) difficulty and it was challenging and I've used all the game systems to beat it. Nice rewards too. IDK if it's unintended bug but I suddenly am able to go out of bounds now (bit annoying but can be useful for speedrunning after clearing that fight. Even reloading the save doesn't fix it.

I had a noclip problem also after doing the sewers. Specifically, the one instance where you have to climb a ladder. It was partially fixed at the boss fight, buy only if I skipped the intro cutscene. Noclip was fixed but some strange sprite layering problem remained.

You can try to fix it by going to the goblin den then going to the rope ladder there. This fixed my problem at least.

The EASIEST way to beat him is Maxed out your shotgun gained from the Mafioso in Damage and Impact, it will shred his health like a paper. Also, you need to maxed out the 2nd Skill (Piercing) and your weapon will deal 100% damage each shot since this skill will ignore their defense like no defense at all.

I beat Viceroy on Gamer/Challenge with Maxed out Shotgun and Twin Shotgun (gained from Rank A Airsoft game) while beating Morgan on Fully upgraded Assault Rifle and Handgun (All Moddings, Skills and Damage+Impact with Range maxed) and I dont want to make my self complicated since playing on Challenge and Inferno was really pain in ass without Transfer level on NG+.
