What is this game doing bringing up saves from somewhere I belong?

I haven't found the game you mentioned, but still checked what could be the problem.
It appears instead of using a proper save folder name in AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ on Windows or $HOME/Library/RenPy/ on Mac like Wartribe Academy did, WO creates a default name folder for the interface theme used called RoundedGUI-.... So all the games where their authors didn't change the default name will save into the same default folder. Each of the games still probably have its' own copy of the save files in game\saves directory, but those still may get replaced with the wrong copy. I hope Mr.Rooster fixes it soon enough.

Question for those who have already played or know about the subject: Is it necessary to have saves from the first game or can I play it without them?

The game starts from asking for your name again, etc. I haven't seen any option to load saves from the "first game".

One thing I want to see now is a way to choose the flavor (aka: the choices from Academy) a bit.
For example: While you're going to meet Rhea your dialogue with Juna should have some choices where the MC can talk about the choices from the previous game that changed how Rhea saw you (Did you choose to respect her or not? Did you choose to bang Joy or not?).

In my humble opinion this should've happened when you asked Juna about the girls but if it happens similarly to what I said above it still works. This would also mean Rooster wouldn't need to add a way to import the saves.


Still nice to see the next chapter is out. Can't wait to see if we'll fight Father Dearest.

I really hope the dev reads this post and implements something like this as I agree 100% that I would like my choices to continue on in this game

I even kept my savegame on the off chance he ever lets us import it for said choices. I do realize thats like a 0.0001% chance tho

Nice, thank you for figuring that out I doubt I would have done. And yeah that makes sense, in fact, somewhere I belong had a moment where saves vanished, which was obviously when the dev fixed that issue and created a proper save folder. Because it only brings up a few of them, not all.

I'm really dont like how dev portray the mc, when subordinate disrespect him the mc like he dont care and when his father start war wait "we must end this war and face my father without blood split but first we need to find allies" So Naive. Dunno what dev want mc to be in the future

matters sure, you are declaring 'this person is of special interest' but thats different from 'Im marrying this person' especially given the deep politics going on in these games. Choosing someone in the festival is as much about political statement as it is about 'I like this one'
