This game is a mixed bag. On the one hand, it's a huge step up from its predecessor. The gameplay doesn't require a walkthrough anymore, at least not until near the final act of the game, and the sandbox is well done. There's actually a quest indicator in the form of a star that tells you where to go to initiate events. There is also a stats system, where you need to do certain things to keep your stats up or to earn money to progress or to improve your skills to progress. Thankfully, it's really easy to do these things while advancing the quests and you can always cheat as well if that's not your thing.
The best part about this game is the graphics. There are a shitton of sex animations and they're all amazing. All of the environments look great too. The character models, on the other hand, are hit or miss. A lot of characters look gorgeous, like Kayla, Sarah, Amelia, Emma, Rebecca, etc. But then there are some girls whose faces don't look that good, like Mei and Barbara (who looks like she's 40+), and one girl whose face seems to change later on.
The story and the characters, however, aren't that good. The premise of the story is fine, as it's a sequel to Spaced Out and continues directly where that game left off, but the story itself in this game gets pretty convoluted, and the ending is very abrupt. Also, most of the characters don't have any personality whatsoever, aside from the fact that they're all horny. And on top of that, a lot of the characters are dumb. They blab secrets constantly, especially the protagonist, and are only concerned with fucking, especially the protagonist, even when shit gets real. The best characters are actually Rebecca, Megan, and Amelia, mainly because none of them are as stupid or as bland as the others.
On top of all of that, many of the quests just felt like busywork. You wait until a certain time to talk to a certain person, then go wait some more to talk to another person, and then get a sex scene or two. Rinse and repeat. Some quests involve you having to choose between two girls/scenes, so you would have to replay the whole game and choose the other girl to unlock both scenes in the gallery. I'm particularly not a fan of this type of design to artificially increase replay value. I should want to replay the game because it's enjoyable rather than because I need to unlock more scenes. Also, a lot of the sex is completely unbelievable. For example, two women who hate each other were arguing, but then out of nowhere they end up fucking. Sex as a whole is pretty unbelievable in this game and seems like it was put in just because this is a porn game and it needs to have sex scenes. The writing should have been better. Plus, when sex scenes do happen, the characters change sex positions randomly and many of the scenes end pretty quickly. The sex scenes definitely get better as the game goes on, but a lot of them were still unbelievable.
Overall, this game is definitely worth playing if you've played Spaced Out and are interested in what happens next. Definitely don't play this unless you play that one first (with a walkthrough of course). Even though there was a lot I didn't like about this game, I'm still interested to see where this story goes next, especially given the abrupt ending. Good luck NSFW Space!
