Any time the download is just an .exe I refuse to click it until we've got some more people in here. Always mildly concerning lmao

What a fantastic game this could be - on top of being an original execution, which is refreshing - if only the gameplay wasn't so scrupulously fallowing the worst aspects of Japanese game design.

Right so first a few things which I assume are bugs.
-Buying the board game doesn't actually open up a new interaction
-You can reload bullets past the listed limit, so I could keep reloading until I have 100/bullets. Meaning that guns with high damage and low ammunition capacity don't actually have a low ammunition capacity. The ammo crate item also doesn't seem to do anything as it's not used up when reloading.
-After giving 2 gifts all gifts after that were refused with the girl saying "Why are you giving me so many gifts today" this stayed the same even after a new day or month started meaning I couldn't give any gifts past the initial 2.
Now as for the game itself it's a cool idea with a unique aesthetic as well but aside from extra content I'd say it also needs some rebalancing since right now you need a whole lot of time and effort to get anywhere. For those aren't sure what the gameplay is like from the screenshots you have two tipes of gigs to earn money. One is the racing minigame and the other is the "FPS" one, though it's just enemies standing in front of you one by one while you press left mouse button hit them and right to block attacks so it's closer to a very basic, static rail shooter than it is to an FPS.
Now as for my thoughts on them the racing game is cool but the AI can be beaten super easily so there's little challenge and the races themselves can drag on, I've had one on an already long map be 8 laps and it took around 6~7 minutes to complete for a 3k payout. It needs to either give more money for the extra time you're putting in or at least make the AI stronger so it's not a complete snoozefest once you buy two car upgrades. The map is also not very clear and I actually didn't even notice it during my first few races because I was so focused on not boosting into a wall. The combat gigs I'm not a big fan of, the enemies do a wind up pose to show they're about to attack but after that there's no animation or indication for when exactly the attack happens. And just blocking when they do the pose doesn't work, your block window is way shorter than the length of their wind up. So until you get the feel for it you just fails blocks and eat hits, on higher difficulties before you get armor and hp upgrades you can't even afford to get a feel for it because you get oneshot. Because there's no indication of when you're meant to block I don't know if I died because you can't block gunshots or because I fucked up the timing. On the other hand once I saved up enough money for the strongest gun I could kill every enemy before they could hit me which let me take on any difficulty of combat stage with ease and even the longest combat gig is quicker than the shortest race so I just stopped doing them. It'd be good to show the players what the gig is going to be when they select it, like what race map and now many laps, an approximation of how many enemies and their equipment for the fighting gigs.
There's also the performances you take the girl out on at the end of the month. It needs ERW(Emotional resonance wave) points to execute better performances and you get them through making the girl climax during sex. Except sex uses up HP for both the player and the girl and with the starting values it can be hard to get her to climax before one of you collapses from exhaustion. ERW also has a cap that you increase by about 3 or 4 every time she climaxes but the first tier of action you can unlock needs 90 and I think the starting cap was around 30 or 40 which is enough for the basic "Stand there" action that won't increase your rank by much if at all.
The game is also not very generous with money, you get 2~3k depending on gig difficulty but a lot of upgrades and customization options are in the 9k range which makes the game a time sink. There's also rent every month but no indication of exactly how much you need for it ,it's around 7k or 8k at the start of the month I'm not sure on the exact number. Showing the player exactly how much you need to pay for the rent and the advisor fee if you take them shouldn't be too hard, maybe also a calendar to show important dates like when rent is due and when gigs expire. Also I don't think the advisor did anything during the two in game months I played.
Overall there's a lot of good stuff here especially for an initial release but at the same time what's there doesn't really justify the grind, especially if the goal of the game is to go from rank 50 to 1. Sorry for the rant but I wanted to get my thoughts out since it's a cool project that clearly had a lot of effort put into it and I think it deserves commentary.

Cool concept, currently very poorly executed, too much annoying stuff.

Also, it's crazy this game is only like 180MB, but I guess the entire lack of textures is how.

Racing maps are static and one of them will straight up crash your game right now. There is no way to know in advance if you're on the map until you load into it. If you're not cool with wasting ~10 minutes because of this, don't play this in the current form. You cannot save between activities, so you will lose all progress from the day until that point.

Just a shit load of notes if you do plan to play:

General notes:
- You can't speed up anything. There are just a ton of needlessly long animations for no reason.
- You can't train "Body," you need to buy the Experimental Drugs from stores to increase it, and until you do, doing any form of sexual activity is completely pointless as you won't be able to generate ERW without being able to finish.
- There is a notification of sales at stores on Sundays. It's a lie, just ignore it.
- LiveNet stuff is totally random. If you use a whole day to scan for them (4 scans) and get fuck all, just restart the game.

Time Mechanics:
- The time system is terribly balanced. Each day has 8 "time" to spend.
- Activities the girl does (minus cooking) cost 3.
- Activities you do (Exercise, Repair, LiveNet, Cleaning and Cooking) cost 2.
- Using books (and gifts?) costs 1, using and equipping items is free
- Moving around the map costs 1, but can be done infinitely at the end of the day, so it's effectively free.
- Races and Fights cost 0
- You can the girl can't do anything concurrently, like exercise together, which is beyond stupid. At least clean the place while I'm fixing the car, lady.

Racing Stuff:
- Racing is easy with upgrades but also doable up to the hardest difficulty without them.
- Using all your boost disables it until it fully recharges, don't do this.
- Always boost out of corners (it functions as acceleration.)
- Ignore Acceleration and Body on upgrades

Fighting:
- Don't try to do hard fights (Threatening and above) without armor, you'll just get shot and die instantly.
- Blocking melee attacks has random timing after enemies start animating to attack, you can't reliably do it.
- Guns are optional but faster than using melee weapons.

Developing the Girl:
- Only buy and train skills that have T2 upgrades on the same vendor, like Dance.
- Gifts are broken and you can only ever give her 2 right now.
- Upgrading her body using Experimental Drugs is the best use of your money for a long time.

Hi, thanks for giving the game a shot. I'll add all of this to my balance notes, so thank you for the feedback. Also some great bug callouts in here. I'm just going to copy paste all of this into the discord where bugs are being tracked.

1.0.1 is live on itch. Will update the forum links when the majority of the bugs/balancing is resolved. But if you want to play the game with fixes in place immediately, you can there.

Bugs:
- fixed issue where buying Board Game Set, Video Game System, or Home Studio Set would not unlock their respective home activity
- fixed issue where ammunition could be reloaded beyond magazine limits and Ammunition item not consumed
- fixed issue where Elara's memory of gifts received was not resetting properly on new day
- fixed issue where map travel was possible beyond the day progress limit
- fixed an issue where sales were not properly triggering for stores

Balance:
- increased the combat block deflect window from 0.3 to 0.5 seconds
- reduced bond lost when Elara is STARVING to 1-2, from 3-6
