new version either bricked my save or is extremely buggy, can't view any of the scenes as i keep getting the wrong backgrounds, anyone else experiencing this?

The ferris wheel is definitely bugged for Iono, but other than that I could see the new scenes just fine.
If you see backgrounds on top of scenes, go to the place that background is from, then leave and it'll fix itself. I think is a problem with some saves

I'm disappointed in the direction of the game as of late. To me, the fun of it was collecting sluttier variations of outfits as you progress. Lately, the devs have been more focused on making the girls (Iono) work as many jobs as possible and she's only getting 1 outfit per job with no variations. They're good outfits too, it'd just be sick to see some uber slut variations and/or have a couple more mild variations. Oh well, hopefully this is just a symptom of the game being in development and eventually every outfit will have many variations.
Also, I saw on patreon their next goal is to make another girl which I personally disagree with. Would rather see Peach and Tifa get more outfits with variations. Next girl could be great tho so I don't hate this decision

I like the fact that you can make girls do different jobs to fit the "management" part of the game, but I totally agree on you that outfits are very limited and they don't really even have a use? and for the idle images when they are in their rooms are just always the casual one or the default one, there's no use of these outfits really

I think the issue is that they are trying to do two conflicting game elements at the same time now. The main game loop started as: new girl joins Ersoland, corrupt/train her incrementally to be more slutty and outgoing, then reach a point where she has fully embraced her role and what the park stands for.
The other element they have been trying is taking an already corrupted girl and letting her work new jobs at the park. The problem with this is that it skips over the whole step by step corruption/training portion of the game that felt rewarding and goes straight to the end stage for every new job she takes on. This means missing out on the level by level slutty outfit unlocks and the character drama of opening up sexually, the premise the whole game is founded on. Had they made it so a girl can work multiple jobs from the start and each corruption level unlocks the new stage at all of them one by one then you would have everything feeling more rounded out, but obviously that would have been a larger undertaking and would mean waiting longer to get to full corruption for everything.
This is also why the devs find themselves wanting to introduce yet another new character while others are incomplete compared to Hana or Iono; the only way to get back to the satisfying game loop everything is based on is to bring in a new girl to corrupt from scratch. So, unfortunately, we have a mismatch of game principles that don't fully compliment each other and require constant expansion of the cast or updates that feel like weightless end game material you didn't really work for.

Fair enough, I agree it would be hard/impossible to make a full outfit progression "make sense" for players with complete saves, since the girls are already corrupt. Unless, they add a reset button for that character. This way we could fully experience the new job/outfits and they could even add a booster making you progress faster.
I'd prefer they make a girl work 1 or 2 more jobs and develop full outfits for them in each update. The stories that go along with the job/outfits don't need to be deep, especially initially. My opinion might not be the norm, but the increasingly slutty outfits are pretty much the sole reason I'm invested in this game.
Eventually, my hope is that we get the best of both worlds, where the girls work many or all jobs and have outfit progression for each one. This way, we can restart the game and watch the progression happen naturally.

Yeah it'd be cool if they could change pose and facial expressions. Or do some kind of exhibition mission. Maybe the dev plans to add that stuff eventually
