It keeps freezing at this point with the background music still going. Can't even force close the game unless I restart my laptop.

I thought I might have found another game with fun characters and cute art-style in the same category as Maeve's Academy but it seems to have too many major technical problems in its current state. Between this consistent freeze and that horrendously loud and annoying sound effect added to the text that can only be disabled with "mute all". (the other 2 suggestions I found in the thread do not work)

Oh yeah, I forgot that one so 3 that didn't work. Had no effect until after I got rid of the text audio via the mute all method. (not even effecting textspeed before that)
The fact that I can select mute all and then raise the volumes back up without the text sound coming back tells me that the dev didn't link it to any of the actually selectable volume categories. Also partially explains why it seemed to be almost double the decibels of max volume background music.

I'm plodding at a full English retranslation in my free time. The developer's native language is Portuguese it seems, which means the English script isn't really all that up to par. Disclaimer, though - it'll be a while. Translating pornography isn't my day job, after all (though part of me wishes it was). Just wish I had the patience to mod this game any further and add shit that could take the dev years with how development's moving.
Sadly no, I purchased the game on Itch. I was supposed to get an e-mail with the cheat code according to the dev, but there's been nothing but radio silence. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you. It appears that this version fixed the freezing scene I couldn't pass.
Post this to the itch.io version the creator is on there and he takes feedback/ responds
