Recommending Western Sharing Games List

I guess I have some weird bent....
A game like Couple's Duet (and so many others) start off with painting a picture of an MC (male protagonist in tags) as a loser with all the usual traits (can't satisfy, small cock, meek character, simp etc) wanting me to somehow identify with his issues in dealing with a frustrated, hot, desirable partner (FMC) who he, for some reason, decides, or agrees, is better off fucking other guys. I am immediately faced with a choice of coping with, or totally ignoring his dilemna, as I am not playing to lose my enjoyment in the process, I am playing to gain something, hopefully.
In this situation, I would much rather just play that game as the FMC, just like I would an FMC-only game, where the male partner is just an NPC who has no input and is largely ignored within her sexual explorations and adventures.
I made it about 10 minutes into Duet before deleting that shit in abject horror at the poor MC character I was supposed to make choices for. As I remember the graphics were great, enticing even, but just nope, not for me.

I cannot enjoy a game where the MC and FMC are not actual partners in some way in their adventures, even if it is just her getting fucked in the story. And I wanna get equal shares in the booty too. I want an MC to be equal to the FMC, at least, in making those choices about what happens. Not just "shall I watch and wank" or "will I just let her decide and accept the outcome". Or "let's have an open show" and she fucks 20 guys without me around at all, while I have to literally cheat to get maybe two headjobs with some random ugly bitches.
That is not sharing. Its not even enjoyable. I'd rather line up ten straight-out "girl goes from virgin-to-turbo-slut-in-ten-days" stories, than one of these "shit-for-brains-loser-MC" games.

I'd agree but with one caveat, for me personally I'm fine with the "I'm watching and wanking" IF it's by choice and framed as a confident mc being like "hell yeah I want you to put on a hot show", not the timid "sits in a corner because that's all he's allowed to do", of which Couples Duet feels very much like the latter.

Same action, but vastly different motivations and tonality, the difference between happily loaning a friend some tools and having your house broken into and them stolen (but eventually returned).

What I'm looking for, but is extremely difficult to find, are situations where the couple is normal/vanilla/exclusive at the start, but then something happens, and they gradually decided to open up the relationship in a way that benefits them both. The common trope that she's hooking up with all these other guys and her husband/bf is just on the outside watching is simply deflating, not sexy, and sometimes depressing. I'm grateful that it seems that there is a fairly recent shift, especially with the AI games, where there are more featuring a sexy MC who gets his share of the fun.

That is definitely a short list of VNs...
I can only think of about a dozen off the top of my head, and that's with the recent AI additions, which make up about half of that list...

Unpopular opinion, I like a well written kinetic story better than a clumsy cyoa. Most cyoa stories I've played aren't "immersive" enough that, instead of roleplaying, I don't ask myself the same questions every time a choice pops up: what sexy times will this one lead me to, and will it lead to stuff I don't like? it's not always obvious, which creates anxiety, and I'm not the "permadeath" kind of gamer, I play games purely for gratification, not for the "challenge", no interested in "finding out" what my choices lead me to, what I want is to know the exact path to what I enjoy best. So, kinetic sounds great, it's just a matter of enjoying the same things as the author. When I don't, others will and it works best than if the author had tried multiple paths purely to attract more people, if they don't fully identify with all of them.

Probably not as unpopular as you think...
That's why nearly all of those VNs have detailed walkthroughs and cheat mods...

Then there are those that give a major choice, right at the start...(very few I admit, only one comes to mind immediately, and I know of a couple of mods that do this too)
Each "path" then becomes your highlighted choice throughout the game..like a built-in walkthrough to stay on that path, yet you still see what choices you are missing out on. Sorta like a KN within a VN?
I mean, you could always "bust out"?? but why would ya?

I'd rather have the choice to simply end the game early and have a simple happily ever after scene compared to being forced to watch scenes I don't like. I think I did that with the couple's duet game. I wasn't feeling it so I simply rejected all advances from everyone LOL. Game ended very quickly and I deleted it

there's actually a normal sharing route in Couple's duet of Love and Lust, you get that if you go vanilla->exhibitionist->go with the virgin student on the party
On this route there's no Darrel and the sharing is very slow-burn and wholesome, shame it was abandoned

That easily happens to me if the female character is "naive", and the other guy is a creep taking advantage. It's pervasive in NTR stories and I hate it viscerally, which leads me to narrow down my scope to stag/vixen. I would tolerate a lot more different scenarios, even the FMC cheating as long as 1) it's her agency, not the guy's, 2) there's no intent to humiliate the MMC and 3) they talk about it later and make it a sharing dynamic. Having another guy play his hand successfully with "my girl" triggers me in a really bad way.

You have two routes to choose from for her - pornstar or model. So far there's only been two chances to share her, once with Rachel's douchebag boyfriend () and with her bff's husband. The scenes with Alice and her husband were good, IMO. And MC dominates her most of the time.
Presumably the pornstar route will have more sharing in the future. But that future right now looks a long way off. lol
