Hmm, I actually dislike games where the MC is not jealous, it starts to remind more like pimp-slut kind of relationship. And especially when the MC is totally okay with the FMC doing whatever with others. Like, in Paradise City there is this "dominant NTS" path that I personally called "the crazy pimp path" - on the first day on the island the MC lets a guy they just met and 3 random passerbies to fuck his wife on the beach in this crazy gangbang (he participates too). There was no humiliation to the MC, no signs of his sexual weakness or anything, and indeed the MC is rather dominant. But it was so dirty that I immediately disliked it.

which do you call the harem route? I genuinely dont know, because the routes in that game are such a clusterfuck and there's like 25 of them. Afaik the 'harem route' was also closely linked with the ntr route, like chloes cheating behind his back but he's pounding girls too. Unless there's some third option?

The Harem route is if she didn't meet Derek in the first night (so if you told her that her breasts got exposed while she was dancing) and then on the morning of the next day you chose that you will sleep with other girls. There's no NTR on this route and no humiliation. If she met Derek then it will be either NTR or cuckold NTS. Well there's also this hard-to-get 'dominant NTS' ('crazy pimp') route.

On the Harem route you can tell Amanda that you don't mind sharing Chloe with other men.

Classic case, of where I am ok with "most" of the graphics and gameplay, but its one of those games where I am still driven to write a "mod" script to change the dialogues into something more palatable for players like me...
But, sheesh, browsing the images folder shows a whole lot of shit I am really glad I never saw "in-game".....will leave it at that.

But most of all I dislike badly written stories and characters. And cuckold stories most of the time are extremely badly written. Which is not surprising b/c it's a roleplay that the devs try to present as a real-life dynamics.

Same here, you speak my language. Tho in a Japanese NTS game that I played by the end of the game I hated the MC so much that I wanted him to get NTR'd. But unfortunately the game doesn't have a bad ending and he got away with it!

Jesus.... I had never seen the WT for this game until now (I thought it didn't have one), I just checked the path to get to that gangbang and it is a nightmare..... really, I do not know what the developers that program their games like this really think.... if you need to follow a guide to have exactly between 4 and 6 corruption for the wife, and have said exactly these things on these four different scenes, choosing correctly out of the possible 3-4 options, or else you miss content or end up on a path you may not like..... madness.

Devs write things they think their shrill demanding patreons want, and that is done mostly with little to no understanding of what actually drives the kink in the first place.
You can immediately tell those devs who do actually have experience in the kink, whatever it is, from those who don't. And that is unfortunate.

Just like Edhinor 's comment above about really obtuse walkthrough-driven scenarios, revealing hidden paths that make no real sense to the experienced. Unfortunate.

Who defines what the correct understanding of the topic is?
So far, I have only played 3-4 games that include topics such as sharing and cuckold. Given the number of potential games, I don't presume to judge what is good for the genre, but rather go with what appeals to me personally.
I believe that every kink has nuances within its category and can vary in the details.
There is a basic theme (e.g., cuckold), but within that theme there is freedom (e.g., with or without a chastity case, cum cleanup yes/no, etc.).
What is good or bad is determined by personal preference and not by some standard template from outside.

In short: fun is individual. Everyone should consume what they personally enjoy and let others do the same.

Well, I think devs write it as just the LI humiliating MC all the time and not showing the tender moments or having her ask if she has gone too far. Paradise City did it good at the start when they had a talk at the able about it. But users just assume The LI is a bitch or hates the MC which is so wrong. If she did, she wouldn't try and understand and indulge his kinks.

The thought of her seeing another man as 'better' is also a big part of humiliation that gets overlooked often.
