i have Question , did Desert Stalker dev abandoned Sharing ? last time i played the game there was scene with igor or something i forgot his name , with the wife after that whenever i check nothing came about sharing , so did sharing Zahra path got removed or what ? because i only played the game for her and her sharing path .

He didn't remove or abandon any sharing, it's just that sharing isn't the main focus of the game.

I have a big kink for NTS/sharing/swinging. I play quite a few games in that genre. One of my biggest pet peeves about it is, the bad selection of males in these games that are potential 'partners' for the wife/gf. I dislike probably over 75% of the males. Either because of their looks or because of their personality. Personality especially. Too many of them are either creeps, douchebags, slimey pieces of shits, bullys, etc. I can see these personalities working in an NTR game but so much with NTS. Yes, I know sometimes both are in the same game. I just wish wish we had better options for the NTS/sharing routes/games.

yeah I agree with this if I played these games without a min max minset of wanting to see scenes I would of skipped out on so many scenes. i've grown to ignore my dislike for them and just view the scenes for the hottness factor of the sex or make it all about the MC's partner so my dislike for them doesn't bother me often. The male have to be really horrible to the point im worried for the FMC to want to skip their scenes or someone I can't stand to look at. Just a "lazy dev" thing in my view.
Seems most devs have no problem summoning a legion of female characters of all shapes and sizes, personalities and demeanours, but suddenly, when it comes to having a choice of male characters, there are only 3 or 4, and of course, all the ones that interact with FMC are just desperados of some sort? Usually ugly or unpleasant, or just downright abusers. Players are then left with "fuck the arsehole" or "miss all the content".
Its a real novelty finding an alternate male character that is actually likeable to some degree.

honestly I would say this isn't just true for sharing / NTR games but even other types of AVN's too. It's rare to find a Male character that is decent or likeable let alone a best friend.
True, but especially for sharing games, it becomes important. (in a "slut" game, the other guys are just there to fuck her, and sometimes disgusting is good)
But if I am involved in deciding who fucks my wife/gf, with consent, surely I wouldn't just want to give her to any arsehole? Wouldn't I wanna actually like the guy we invite in? And wouldn't she?
And wouldn't the same be true for her, when deciding who I get to fuck? (in the case of a female as a straight thing)
I guess my whole point boils down to...why does the "other character" have to be the archetypical "antagonist"?

I completely agree. In the vast majority of adult games, even if the MC is a likable guy, its almost certain that every other male character is either a total asshole, a horrible creep, or the most pathetic loser possible. There's almost complete antagonism towards all men. And if that were just a few games here or there, then I'd chalk it up to the developer's personal preference or putting their own life onto the page, but when its so many of them, I have to think it runs deeper.

My guess would be that there are several factors at work here.
1) Playing with the NTR feelings. IMO, the the most obvious one, especially if there's an NTR route. It's for the NTR audience, even if it's a sharing game. See, MC/player, your girl is eager and willing to fuck a hobo, an asshole, a big black dude, etc., even though technically it's you who let her. Also, making a nice and respectful lover on the NTS path, who would at the same time cuck the MC on NTR route is somewhat hard. That would be almost 2 different characters.
2) It's what players want. Of course it's all conjecture, since I didn't make a poll or anything. But I feel like a lot of players, even in sharing games, don't want their girl to have any kind of emotional attraction to her lover (I don't like the word "bull") and thus his role is that of a human dildo. If they do anything else, players feel like it's going into NTR territory ("he's becoming her bf"). Sure, you may say it doesn't mean he has to be an asshole. And I agree. But it often means he has no real personality and thus can't really be "likeable".
And because players don't want to be "threatened" by the other guy, it's easy to make him have unlikable features, to make sure he's not the "boyfriend material". Make him rude, unattractive, a playa, some random hobo. Unlike "you" who is kind, supportive and caring to "your" gf.
3) Some players want drama in the relationship and wholesome swinging/sharing bores them. They want potential conflicts between MC and FMC. So let's introduce an antagonist.

I agree with all your points but I remember a period when I had a colleague lodging with me. He was ruggedly handsome, muscular, a black belt in Judo and a complete bastard. The ladies loved him, despite knowing that he would use and abuse them. Maybe they were attracted to his commanding (arrogant) personality, maybe they felt he was a good breadwinner, I have no idea, but he was a shining example of women being drawn to bastards. On the other side of the coin I have friends who are gentle, thoughtful and empathic and women have enjoyed hugging them, sharing thoughts and coffee, and becoming close friends with them, but wouldn't consider them as potential lovers. The upshot of which is that if a woman is going to be unfaithful in an NTR route it's more likely she will do so with a bastard, whilst in a sharing situation she is still going to lean toward the dominant personality but being more aware of her partners feelings. On that subject, the sharing partner, he needs to be pretty damned confident in himself to go with sharing in the first place. If someone wants to see their partner fucked by a hobo etcetra that is just a power trip to humiliate and she would have to be a real sub to run with it.

I entirely respect your stance but would point out that you're making use of an anecdotal fallacy - using personal experiences or isolated examples to support a universal claim. That SOME women are attracted to bastards and to dominance doesn't mean that's a feature of womanhood. What's exciting about fantasy is that you can explore situations that are normally seen as unlikely to happen. Personally, when I'm playing a game and realise the story is following a predictable path, based on commonplace and tropes, I'm disappointed. What I look for in games/avn's is situations that defy commonly accepted ideas, while remaining believable - the best image I can think of is "walking a tightrope" or "playing with fire", like where a couple pushes the limits of what's socially acceptable, even pushing the boundaries of what each other considers acceptable, but without breaking the boundary completely (the absence of boundaries takes away much of the tension). For example, I'm bored of power dynamics when it's presented as a "universal rule" where alphas take the girls and betas watch them being taken. But if power dynamics are just the background for breaking such rules, they're good to have. Nothing more satisfying than seeing the alpha chad antagonist making a move on your LI, while you and her acknowledge it and play along for a bit (walking the tight rope) and in the end humiliate him by your LI's refusal. Using your hobo example - very much depending on the writing and circumstance - a hobo fuck scene can be a provocation, a fuck-all on preconceptions about attractiveness, social acceptability and power dynamics, all of which I like. Or it can be just degrading or humiliating, depending on how one writes it.

I agree on the confidence aspect in sharing. I think a lot of the time people conflate confidence and dominance. A lover in the game can be confident in his looks, charm, ability to please a woman and still be like "Thanks for letting me spend the night with your wonderful wife! I had a great time and hope she did too. Would love to meet you both again!" Instead of trying to be a "conqueror".
As for the colleague example, yeah, respectfully, whenever anyone tries to make a general statement about "what women want", "what men are", etc., unless they have an actual peer-reviewed study to back that up, it's never a good enough evidence. It's a limited sample size, even if your colleague had a hundred sex partners, there all the possible biases from all the people involved (maybe it's just your colleague, who had a particular type, to name the easiest one), no proper method of research, etc., etc.
