yeah to be fair im not into any humiliation on purpose but just not enough for me to stay away from something unless it starts to go beyond being playful. Tho truth be told I don't play these games for any sort of fetish or kinks , as I usually like scenes that aren't lewd scenes the best.

Only in NTS games I might look forward to a lewd scene depending on which game we are talking about. For Example the East Block I look forward to Kathryn scenes lewd or not doesn't matter to me. Girlfriend I prefer the non lewd ones most of the time as I like how their relationship is shown off , only when certain things progress enough I look forward to that lewd scenes then back to just non lewd scenes with the FMC. But something like My Italian Slut wife 100% the lewds and teasing for me and Medical Special Care I look forward to both equally.

they have the replacement tags set up, they're just too indecisive/perfectionist to roll them out. I cant wait to get away from the japanese words and just use plain english descriptors.

italian slut wife is for sure a majority ntr game....though ive a soft spot in critiquing stuff like that as the tone is very light.

The writing, the characters facial expressions, etc. It reminds me a lot of "Fate Wont Separate Us" in tone. There's a levity throughout - despite having very ntrish themes (dont disagree with you there), it's jokesy and fun. Having said that ill totally respect any sharing fan's objection to games like this.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
What do you mean dude? they will still be using japanese words and the western sounding one swinging is getting removed.

For me, any intentional humiliation for the purpose of degrading, by either partner when engaged in any sexual-toned act with another person present is off-the-books, and to be avoided by anyone that is supposed to be "romantically-involved". Love should not be tested so.
Almost to a tee, with some minor circumstantial exceptions, is also true for cheating, by either partner.
In either case, retribution/revenge/dumping is just fair play....
I mean, in the case for/against NTR/NTS. So, yeah, for me, there is a hard line that neither should cross.

Corruption games are a whole 'nother kettle of fish.....:ROFLMAO:

I agree with you 100% on some, if the purpose is indeed to degrade either partner, it's off limits for me. But (to use an example) the final scene in BILH is hot... Humiliation is only a scenario in her dirty talk, and she does a good job bringing the tone back to teasing. The game has her deal with intense jealousy watching the MC fucking Gwen on live streaming and gives you a choice to either let her turn jealousy into teasing, or succumb to it and get into more of a retribution arc. I can see a path going forward where Claire becomes so corrupt her desire to humiliate the MC becomes real, and I wouldn't choose that path, no matter how hot the scenes might be. Cruelty turns me off. But even so, if the game offered you a chance to bring the story back to the current tone, where she might have freaked out once, but got herself together and apologised, I might go with it for the intensity of the moment - but I truly don't enjoy an entire game, route or arc focused/heavy on degradation.

Nope it's just getting replaced with netorase. You can find the list in the new tag discussion in the site news section.
Thanks. Wasn't aware of that thread, but went looking for and found it after I saw your earlier post.
Netorase works. It's weird to sub the Japanese term, when English is the default here, but netorase works.

That tag list in the op is really helpful, because it includes how this site defines/uses the tag.

Honestly, I don't know how they should word it. I like cuckold, but a lot of devs use that for cheating too, which I don't like, so it'd still confuse me.
the problem is 2 specific things:

1) an obsession with jpn terms which renders everything less clear (i blame weebs, only thing a weeb likes more than jpn/anime is EXPLAINING jpn/anime to others)

2) the common use of 'cuckold' both in the (a) fetish definition and the (b) archaic dictionary definition.

When a pure ntr fan says "Is there any cheating, cause i dont play that cuck shit", despite my hatred of that camp, they're actually using the word in the (a) definition, which is correct for a porn game forum context. When a harem fan says "not interested in cuck shit" when talking about wife/gf sleeping with anyone but husband, they're using the (b) definition. As in his wife cheated on him, therefore she made a cuckold of him.

when you as joshy say "I like cuckold", you're using (a). When devs use it for general cheating, that's (b).

This is all too complicated for me. I'll just stick to holding hands and eating creampies romantically.

And hopefully letting my LI get pregnant from another man.

yeah i stand corrected from my original post, that sounds totally ass backwards to me.
It is...
Regardless of what terms actually mean, the tag list explains how it's being used here.
netoraseA love interest has sexual contact with someone else, with the approval of the protagonist
That's, extremely broad...
swinging, cuckold, etc. would all fit.

The netorare defintion for this site is effectively broad and covers cheating.
Yet, cheating is still a "sub" tag.
No clue why they would remove swinging...

Any way, not my monkeys, not my circus, just need to know what tags I need to search for to find the content I'll like...

Yes, when those new tags are implemented with the accompanying definitions, I'm not going to continue to complain about Japanese tags. I'm just venting here in a thread with like-minded people for fun.

You know how it is, you open up one thread after another of games of within this or similar genres, and all you see is the same "academic" discussion on Japanese terms and their deep philosophy and ancient etymology. You start to go crazy! Like, didn't I just read this same conversation yesterday, or the day before, or last week, or several times last month and every month of the whole previous year and before?! o_O

Sometimes I think we take things to seriously. Just saying. I am here to have fun and explore stuff. If something is not my cup of tea I just move on. Most games I see I look over and if not my thing or something I am curious about I move on.

We are all here for fun I think, least I think so who knows I could be wrong.

P.S.
If I really like or love a game I do support the dev.

fair enough - I maintain my theory on why this convo keeps repeating: "only thing a weeb likes more than jpn culture/anime is EXPLAINING jpn culture/anime to others"

-of which there's no shortage on this site, that's reality. This will only change when adult games move more towards the mainstream. Unfortunately, I see this as a catch 22; those same themes push mainstream players away from the ecosystem. Just IMHO.

Whilst I am generally happy to work within whatever structure exists on a board, finding my way towards the end I seek, I don't comprehend how the subtraction of existing definitions towards a more generalised and ambiguous structure can be a "positive" step, when it is in fact narrowing the search fields available to an end-user.
Typical "Oh well, it makes life easier for admins, therefore it must be good" thinking.
Add filters so that more definition is possible, don't subtract them, even less make them more ambiguous.
The only "hope" I see in the tag thread is the possibility for users to suggest better definitions or alternate nomenclature once the new system becomes available.
....end rant.....back to the games.....

I don't worry so much about tags since we have these curated lists, thanks for that!

Having said that, I've used the search system a lot, it's rare it brings up a game I haven't come across and pondered, except for newly started/released titles. Maybe looking for that perfectly suited game is a game in itself
