I disagree with ya you know cause 2 things 1 the writing is good despite the whole slavery aspect of it and you can declare the girls to be free and 2 similar plots exist in actual animes and movies dont take it too seriously. I mean i am against slavery irl but i do enjoy the whole master servant dynamic in games like that. Also that game has a very brutal and realistic scene if you choose to fuck the princess against her will. Like it actually made me sad and thats super rare so the game is well made.

Maybe I blacked out, but I don't recall "freeing" anyone. The magical tattoos have definitely stayed there. Not just that, but you effectively become a dictator in the latest update and the first thing you do is buy a slave maid from a subject. Maybe in the future I'll be able to plant the slave trader's head on a spike, but I'm running on current content.
Don't get me wrong, I don't automatically hate on games that have that kind of dark content (I like Ravager, lol)- but the game's tone doesn't feel right to me. If MC was an edgy morally grey guy, sure. Instead he's a modern-day human I can play as the usual saint, except he's just fine with that "one thing".
Nothing wrong with having different tastes though. If I understand it right, isekai are basically self-insert fantasies. Just that in this case my self-insert would rather be spreading Freedom™ and getting ladies that way.
Well a morally well adjusted person will be happy with 1 wife and never want a harem.I also never said he removed the tattoos as they can never be removed instead he gave them their freedom to make choices. Also he isnt a dictator he is a duke and had to follow the custom to get the maid and you can even warn the slaver to not mistreat the slaves. Just play the compassionate route instead of ruthless one. Also modern day humans own more slaves than all of history combined. Just a not so fun fact.
He does call himself a duke, yes. I called him a dictator, though in hindsight usurper or pretender would be more accurate. He took the position by violently overthrowing the previous duchess and the king (or emperor, I forgot) absolutely doesn't recognize him as legitimate. Not that it matters much in practice - especially if he beats or persuades the king, and we all know it will happen eventually. Bit of a tangent I know, but I like yapping about fake medieval fantasy worldbuilding, haha.
I think you're missing what I'm trying to say. If I played the ruthless route the writing would actually make sense to me. I'm annoyed that the compassionate route I'm on isn't radical enough.
I dont wanna turn this thread into a debate about a totally unrelated games story well if you want we can continue in Inanna Revenges thread and i must also add you are wrong about mc being a pretender as he won fairly and got the throne and i think compassionate route is decent but ruthless route is super well made as you feel you are the bad guy. All in all it is a super good game you are just looking at it too deeply i mean we havent even yet met the king and yet to see consequences of the latter we sent depending on polite or threatening. In most stories we know good guy will beat the bad guy doesnt really mean we dont enjoy them.

Oh boi the games list ive been looking for!
played through this today, making my way through the list of past things people have suggested.
Unlike some fmc games where there's a partial focus on the relationship, there's almost none in here - regardless of choices it's pretty much the usual 100% fmc turboslut sim while boyfriend is kept in the dark. Perhaps itll change in future; but for right now it can't be termed a sharing game at all.
