Does this take place before or after Free Pass?

Not sure it's the same characters. Left a good review on Naugthy 40 and checking Free Pass next.

This author's work, with the same characters as Free Pass present in most of their content, evoke one word to me - gratuitous.
Free Pass, for me, so far, is his best work, but thats because it's complete, true to its genre and full of content. (not a Futa fan so that is the only downside for me)
Naughty 40 is what I would call a half-arsed attempt at swinging, simply because he obviously ran out of inspiration when coming up with ideas for how to complete the arc he was on. !0 months on, he has moved on, to Free Pass 2, and I feel has abandoned the swinging genre, because the husband is just always this angry, loser, incapable guy, while she is a hottie, "looking for love in all the wrong places". Which is fine, as long as we aren't looking for a real gem in the sharing genre. Which is a shame. The setup would be easily converted to that. Not saying the games are not enjoyable, but I wouldn't put them on this list, though that is for Johnny to decide really.

Haven't played Free Pass but I'll take your advice, if that's your opinion on a completed game, not worth investing time on a story with a loser MC. But Naughty 40 didn't strike me the same way. Maybe you're right and swinging/sharing is not the author's main interest, but where Naughty 40 stands, it does feel as going in the right direction...

I think they're aware. They answer the thread now and then, in long, condensed posts. Seems like their initial intention was for a true NTR game, but the thread posters surprised them with how many wanted a good ending with Anne, and I think they got the message. They're also coming from a setup where neither Anne nor the MC are perfect and know what they're doing, so they may screw up. There's conversation about a points system to decide where exactly do they land according to choices made. They do mention that the roommate is a "wild card", so keep that in mind. Seems too early to tell and I didn't finish the current update, yet, but I'm watching that one as it has the potential.

What bothers me somewhat in these multiple protagonist games is that I don't know how to roleplay romance from a female perspective. If it's 100% a female perspective game, my instincts make her take all the sluttiest choices, take Girl Life as a good example, Sveta's got of fuck 2 or 3 different guys each day But I just switch off if it's a romantic path, can't bring myself to think of the guy romantically if he's not also a MC. When you have a multiple protagonist game, like this one, it's hard to lead the female to follow her attraction to other guys. Exciting Games nails it just right, every time you're playing as Nicki, if feels like her choices come from her enjoying being a deviant, no crappy flustering or feeling uncontrollable attraction. A vixen gets wild but remains in control - and it seems hard to imagine how inexperienced Anne can be such a vixen. I really don't want her to have any feelings for that male roommate, or any other bugger. Or even ask herself if she does

See, I enjoyed Free Pass. I could care less about the FMC's husband and I enjoyed having the transgirl in the game.

But isn't that what female perspective NTR is about? When the main character accepts they're cheating and doesn't mind, the tension is gone, there's no two-people dynamics, it's just a fuck show of one character, probably still good as a porn game, just a different thing. I'd put it in the same basket as incest or harem games, not that I wouldn't play them, but they're not at the top of the list. And I don't mind transgirls either - thank you for not saying futa. Don't mean to offend anyone but dating tansgirls or femboys as a male MC bears an element of transgression that I enjoy, while "futa" feels like idiotic and more-than-half-repressed hentai fantasy.

I never approached it as an NTS/NTR game. To me it was just a female protag game and I really liked the look of the FMC. I liked the story enough to continue it. Top tier? No, but enjoyable.

I take your point about "transgirls" as opposed to "Futa", and will remember that hopefully, (out of respect for you, sir ) but it's the tag this site uses. Either way, that's just not my cuppa tea, but you do you.

By my own definition (yes I know its just a minority view) any game that relies on cheating as a prop, is not a sharing game. Doesn't mean I don't enjooy the game, I mean, who doesn't love a hot slut, under any conditions, right?

It ain't sharing, but as Fem Protag, it's good.
She gets hot and wild, under lots of different kinks.
Forget about MC really, you don't see much of him at all, he is just her excuse to cheat, and she does that well.....

Too late, as quickly as I downloaded the full 8GB of it, already deleted it It's not that I don't like cheating hotties, just not at the top of my list. And have I mentioned GL? When I want to play the slut, that's one I always have installed and up to date. Scratches that itch. Maybe not the great renders that Free Pass surely has, but it all plays out in the imagination, or so they say Really, not ditching the game because of your initial feedback, I'll play it later if it comes around.

played The Adored Marriage, I don't share the OP concern about this novel heading into an NTR direction - the player has full control over what happens, both the wifey and especially hubby have plenty of opportunities to cheat but it is not really in NTR vein - it's just sex without hard feelings. And the wife can tell the hubby about it later to make it a sharing experience for both of them. (Sadly the husband can't share with her about his sex with other women, yet). They also can engage only in fully consensual sharing. Overall, the novel felt raw - mistakes in the script, sex scenes are way too hastly, the story is somewhat inconsistent with pacing. On the other hand - great character models (the wife and some potential female sex partners are really hot). Most non-blowjob animations are really good.

Yeah it's Girl Life. The point is not that it's real porn, as the point in VNs isn't DAZ or HS or whatever. GL is a grindy female protagonist sandbox game if you want to see it that way. It's the only text-based game I know that can appear to match an open world rpg in that the game world feels alive as you move through it. There's a lot going on everywhere regardless of what you do, and no end of ways to engage either. But QSP just isn't for everyone. Oddly, I can't bring myself to enjoy a full text game, but I stand by that visuals aren't the focus for me, situations are. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate gorgeous art when there is some. Models and sometimes scenery (eg College of Mysteria nails both)
