I see what you mean I thought you meant it was forced NTR that's why I was confused since I was able to turn everything down but you just mean how there is not 1 NTS scene in the update.
Totally agree. It's about male domination, ugly guys getting women to submit to their lust. Having said that I thought it was done well and the animations generally added value so if you enjoy male domination VN's then this is definitely for you. If you want sharing/swinging then look elsewhere because that boat sailed long ago and I doubt it was at the harbor to begin with.
I dunno though, it does seem like a fundamental pivot.
Keep in mind, up until this update, many ntr purists complained that Kat would always check in with Luke before doing anything, so in that sense it very much was a hotwife-style setup, admittedly with a large serving of unsavory characters.
Heck, only 2 updates ago is when he had the patreon poll "should kat be able to cheat on luke" - since that was such a radical "out there" idea at the time.
Not arguing with what it is now - but taking a contextual look at the game's history this wasn't always the norm.
Not quite. She might have checked in with him in some areas but he certainly wasn't checking in with her and I'd argue that sharing is mostly a 2-way thing. This seems more that the MC is lending her out for his own pleasure when his guilt doesn't overwhelm him.
okay fair - yeah it was mostly him sending her on her way, without regard for her take on how things were going. A few times she would say "I need to ask Luke" like the prisoner phone call but that wasn't always present.
I said this ages ago in this thread, but this game does have a classic NTR setup, no matter if it looks like "sharing/swinging" is a major arc.
The mere fact that Luke was a setup to cheat first, in order to "save" a co-worker, and Kat was portrayed as having cheated on him on their very first date with some ugly old dudes, and then both were put in a situation where they never got the opportunity to confess, and talk about it. Her fetish for exhibitionism, his fetish for cuckoldry, have been ever-present all through this, in fact have been the primary motivation for nearly every scene. Add the drug-forcing neighbour, the old dude across the way.....tropes everywhere, every one of them setting up for NTR, not romantic exploration of passions and desires.....even though they are a "lovey-dovey" couple.
Dev has an NTR story, and everything else is incidental to that...Dev intends to blow that up...
Its gunna be hard to stay on a romantic sharing path, but let's hope it remains possible, and maybe there might come some more action later, after he tells the NTR arc maybe. Still enjoying the ride at this stage anyway, lol
