I played this today. It’s definitely not sharing, it’s straight-up heavy cuckolding. The name is on the first page of this thread. What’s interesting to me is that even cuckold MCs......like the one in this game who gets humiliated a ton......are way more tolerable than MCs in Japanese Netorase games lol, Why am I saying this?
Because at least these MCs don’t cry or whine, and they don’t drive us insane with thousands of internal monologues. They actually choose this willingly without any regret, unlike those stressed-out, doubt-filled, sick NTS MCs who second-guess everything a thousand times until the end of the game and drive me crazy too.
None of them are actually good, but personally, I prefer a cuckolding game MC over a Netorase game MC. And the top tier is definitely the sharing game MC.

She will not have a significant other when the game starts. We will have a few choices for men to date, but they will be more influencers for her, each with his own motivations. I don't think it will be nearly as focused on the significant others as ALWL was. It will be mostly about her.

Yeah, I know some people don't like the FMC genre. Sorry about that. I just had an idea for doing something like this, and she was the perfect candidate for it.

Well, I want to have some choices for the player in that regard. And the guys you date will 'push' you towards certain avenues, with their advice and thoughts, but it will still be a players choice.

But! We won't have her being a slut at the beginning that is for sure. I am a big big fan of teasing, so you can count on some of that.

The scene from ALWL, with the neighbors watching the news as the girls on the news make the bet on who has to strip if their team loses. That will be a big turning point in the new game. There are scenes that will appear from ALWL like that, but from the new FMC's perspective. Probably many more than you realize. She is actually in a few scenes in ALWL.

This is pretty close to how I feel. Even if I'm not fully self-inserting, I'm still in their shoes. The couple dynamic is nice because it changes my frame of mind to what would I/the husband want her to do. In a pure FMC game, if I even bother, I pretty much have no incentive not to just make the sluttiest choices possible. On that note, people often talk about FMC corruption games. If I am making her choices for her how is that corruption?

Edit: To add: What I like about AVNs is the variety of LIs but, since I'm not that into lesbian content, FMC games are just mostly the same woman doing things with different men (which also doesn't do much for me).

That's a far out take but I kinda see where you're coming from they're mostly secure in their role, instead of paragraphs and paragraphs of second guessing themselves.

Another consideration for me is that regardless of who I like seeing the narrative framed through, fmc games almost always play very differently than mmc games. It's very very difficult for them to not fall into turboslutsims; particularly in the context of when relationships are an option. The market nearly demands it

That’s awesome news. I love games with female protagonists. If at least one of the guys is around 18-21, it’d be so hot. The MILF + young guy combo is the way to go

That is actually something I do agree with. What I am going to try to do, try that is, is have a bunch of other women involved in scenes, where you are watching, or involved in other ways, as the FMC. That may be hard to do, but it is kind of what I was hoping to accomplish.

Still fleshing it all out.

What I am hoping for, is there will be two 'motivations' for her. Helping her own career, and/or, helping the station she works for.

There will be an overaching plot that connects all 3 games, which we hinted at in ALWL. Most of the content will be in the form of doing news stories. Investigating things, etc. What I would like to do, is have choices for which news stories you want to do. So like having 3 stories to choose from. One could benefit FMC personally, one could benefit the station, and one could do both, or neither. One could be a 'sexy' story, or a hard news story, or just a fluff piece. And depending on the story you choose, that will influence how the public, co workers, male love interests, react to you. And then there will be stories that are not a choice, just some that are needed to move the story along for the main overall plot.

Not sure how well it will work, but that is kind of our thoughts on it.

In my opinion, a developer should follow the path he is passionate about, whatever it may be. If he changes his mind now because of our opinion and chooses a multi-protagonist or male protagonist setup, his motivation will wane because he hasn't followed his heart. He will burn out sooner during development, constantly regret it midway through, and ultimately, the game he makes probably won't turn out well because he has essentially forced himself into it.
Personally, my list of favorite games includes titles with male protagonists, female protagonists, and multiple protagonists alike.
