To my knowledge there's tons of art missing in the Ch. 4 beta. So just wait until release.

It is gonna take a while, sure, but Erk does have a history of making art for games that actually see full release.
wow didn't know that this thread was this chaotic lol... I like the game, Erk does have a really good art style, and the development process usually becomes such a mess, especially this last few months... even more if you are only one dev with a family in you care

Just telling the dev for his own sake (because I want both you and your game to succeed), try not to rile up drama lol. It's not worth it and goodwill goes a long way (even if they really are entitled pirates, they can become payers at any time, like when the game is finished and the highly satisfied not-customer becomes a customer).
Anyway, stupid drama aside, I am pretty curious if the early content we have is finalized, or if all lewd scenes may be reworked one by one until all are animated as beautifully as the fellatio part.

I am excitedly sitting on my hands for ch 4s full release. When I checked out the steam page and saw it wasn't done I was very conflicted, do I wait for the full meal or have a snack. I decided to wait and be surprised. I bought the game on steam so I hope it alerts me when chapter 4 is fully finished.
Just another year to wait, friend, and a new chapter will definitely come out.

Unless I am uninformed of past events, I really don't understand why you are so demanding or to speak so poorly of the dev. As long as work is actually being done, you shouldn't care how long it takes. You should know the risks with any indy project, especially if you did not financially support it in any way. My favorite game has been worked on for 5+ years and it genuinely is supposed to be another 5+ before it's finished with planned alternate endings after completion. Even if I threw that dev 100 bucks, I would still understand if he just one day said, fuck it I'm done.
I got the game on steam so I do have some expectations due to the platform, but I would have gladly thrown 10 bones to the dev on a fund site and understandably risk it never being finished. I already got a meal at McDonalds worth of enjoyment.
I understand if this were one of those games where the dev does jack and shit and just milks his pay pigs for years and years to come, but this is one dude, who is openly showing progress, and clearly isn't pulling the "half year update here is some concept art" kind of crap.

Let's remember Silksong has been vaporwaring very hard, then it just poof came out and effectively DDoS'd all stores coz players were trying to buy it asap. The game turned out to be one of the best metroidvanias ever made coz the dev completely focused on developing a great product throughout that time instead of rushing it out or making do with a subpar product.
I'm sure you have a ton of other things to play (or fap to) for the next few years, so there's no need to rush the dev. It'll be out when it's out and until then play something else. There is presently no need to doubt this game and it seems one of the devs is going through a lot IRL.
