Maybe we shouldn't pay this attention to someone whose only job in this forum seems to be commenting in this thread about what a lazy and greedy people are this game's devs. Literally 9 out of his 12 posts written in 4 years have been like this one.
That's 10 out of 13 now. Slow but steady, you gotta admire the dedication.

Can't really agree here. I've been supporting the nuts on Patreon since they only had about a hundred supporters, and I think it's perfectly acceptable to criticise regardless of whether people pay for it or not. Obviously, criticism from a paying supporter may carry more weight, but that's a separate question.
oh it's absolutely okay to criticise but "Wai uPdaTE taKinG So Long, Lazy devs! milKiNG PeOple out of MonEY" isn't criticism, that's blunt complaining and entitled behaviour. Unfortunately I don't see much constructive criticism here.

This forum isn't known for constructive criticism. Hand drawn games are probably a bigger pain in the ass to make than 3d games, especially if you only have one person doing all the art. I haven't paid too much attention to this thread so I don't know if the devs have added new members to the team, but if it's still just 2 people working on it, you can't really expect the updates do come out that frequently. Summertime saga for example, I think they have a team of 4 or 5 and they still take several months to release an update.

The numbers represent individual tasks. So they have divided "writing" into 153 different parts that need to be written, etc.

Posing is putting different elements together so they work as a whole. You don't just draw the entire frame, but rather one background, three characters, four items, etc. and then put them all in the right place to create an image. Then you maybe apply filters, test different things, detach parts of images to prepare for animation, make sure parts don't overlap, etc. For some end results, this is a simple process, but for many others, it can be quite time-consuming.

Tasks. Posing is positioning the character sprites on the background images, I guess.

Posing, as defined in the Discord's FAQ section:
How do you count posing tasks?
We count two things as posing: 1) changing all of the sprites with each line of the dialogue; 2) animations for sex scenes, cutscenes, and backgrounds. Depending on the length of the dialogue and the number of characters, a scene could have 1-5 tasks. Sex animations count as 3 tasks each. I rarely count tasks for other smaller animations (unless if I thought they would be simple, but they end up taking up my whole day -- it has happened).
So, whenever you see a character moving their hands, their eyes, and their mouth, that's part of a posing task. Those movements have to fit the dialogue, when devs playtest the content and don't feel satisfied with the initial 'pose', a new 'edit' task is added to change that initial posing.

They're backlog task then, i get it  kinda surprised they take it so professionaly, got a brand new respect to the devs now.

Thanks a lot to you all for your precise answer too:D

I used to complain about devs releasing 2 updates per year but at this point I think 1 update per two years is more likely.
How the hell did you come to this conclusion?
No seriously, I really am confused. I'd like to see your logic on this take.

Hi everybody.

Hope you're all doing well. We've been very busy debugging, coding new stuff, and improving things all around. There's a short video I posted yesterday showing an example of what we mean by improvements (a word I've been using a lot in the past couple of weeks), and if you haven't checked it out, please do so.

Aside from that, we've kept working, me focusing on Rose's last quest and Chestnut doing edits and debugs (art stuff, of course). Yesterday I added new sound effects; sound-wise, I think we're only missing one music track.

After I'm done with Rose's third quest, here are the things I'll have to do: revisiting the sequence with Myrtle (with a fresh eye) and making sure it still feels good, adding extra convos (I've come up with a few) and rereading and proofreading the text for typos (from this update and the previous ones). I also want to test the game with a previous version of Ren'py because the latest version gave us a lot of performance problems last release. Oh, and optimizing the sex scenes (manually adding them to the image cache before they're called) is another absolutely essential step I need to do.

Chestnut is going to be busy with the art, and once we're both done, we'll do another round of testing, and when we decide that everything works well, we'll ask a few patrons if they're interested in doing external testing as well (I know that some of you already told me you'd like to be a tester some time ago, if you're still interested, please send me a message here on Patreon).

I want to say that we can release the update this June, and we probably will. Unless shit happens.

That's all, folks.
Have a wonderful weekend.
