I was gonna say that you make it sound like there's a bad choice but then I remembered old lady what's her face is technically one of those choices and for as much as I liked those scenes, it did leave a bitter aftertaste knowing what it was we really just did, or well, who it was we really just did.

To be fair, to some degree it's the same for SS, too, at least if you look at the main story and quite a few minor characters.

Well actually no it's actually up to how you play the story, your first can be the Pixie if you go through her questline first, which I did, although hers does involve her tricking you so how you feel about that as a first instead of Grandma, I don't know, I will say the "climax" though is a lot more fun.

At least for the new SS main story MC has have to fuck several characters and will have to impregnate one of them to continue.

In the end there's always a compromise to be made. If you want to tell a conclusive story, like it's the case here, more events will have to mandatory, compared to the dating sim style of SS, where each story is more or less independent. It's just a different kind of game, even though they may look very similar at first.

Then again, we'll see how much actual choice we'll get here. The game is still in an early stage after all.

I mean... all side-quests like Maple's (the fairy) and Holly's are optional to get those girls. So if you agree to start those quests, it's fair to understand you are interested in those girls and want to watch their sex scenes... so there you have that 'no with her, please' option you're demanding. Just don't start those quests. And Celestina's controversial scene is not mandatory to complete Holly's quest (and from 0.4 on it will be even better coded, because right now it indeed blocks access to Holly's cutscenes, when it shouldn't).

Main story's sexual interactions are unavoidable, yes. Should they have a 'skip' button? That's only devs to say. But if you think about it, you're asking to be able to play a porn-game, in which the story evolves around a sex-obsessed guy who want to fuck no-matter-who as soon as possible, without actually fucking anyone. What's even the point of that?

I'm probably not alone in this, hopefully, but I can't wait for Lana to get some content, something about a drunk elf wearing rags really appeals to me, I think it's the drunk elf aspect being a cute combo, plus you know, she's hot, although honestly if planned content for her doesn't change to include a tit fuck, that's some poor decision making I have to be honest.

Aside from the main story, it is up to you who's character's content to play. And about the main story, we did have several extra girls' sex scenes linked to it in 0.2 (Rose, Anne, Gomira), but we want to change that in the future and limit the number of side-quest sex scenes tied to it.

To be clear, do you want to have the option to advance a character's story without necessarily having sex with her? If yes, then that's not the approach we're taking. If there's a circumstance in a quest that allows for a sex scene, we will incorporate it in the story. The idea is that if you weren't into that girl, you wouldn't have started her quest to begin with.

The prologue gives a taste of how the game could have been if it was shorter and SFW.
