Going by the post that has all of the tasks from each update. They're mostly very similar in the amount of work in each category. Someone posted it a few pages back. How are you defining "normal sized"?

You mean the one that shows this update has 5% more content items than the previous largest update, 55% more than the average of the previous four updates, and 84% more than the average of the three updates from before the patrons voted for larger updates? The one that shows the last two updates have each had more content items than v0.2 and v0.3 combined? How the everloving kayaking fuck did you get "normal sized" and "very similar in the amount of work in each category" out of that?Going by the post that has all of the tasks from each update. I agree it's their largest update yet, but what was the time frame between 0.4 and 0.5? Because 0.5 represents this update fairly well, with a little less content. 10 months is unacceptable regardless. Soon we'll be hitting DarkCookie levels of wait time, but at least he releases smaller updates as he's working on the larger one. Just sayin. You mean the one that shows this update has 5% more content items than the previous largest update, 55% more than the average of the previous four updates, and 84% more than the average of the three updates from before the patrons voted for larger updates? To who? You?10 months is unacceptable regardless.
Milfy City was also clearly acceptable to his Patrons. Doesn't make it right. To who? You?
It's clearly acceptable to their patrons.
Most people who enjoy the game and post here seem to accept the provided justification for updates taking longer than ideal.
I think it does.Milfy City was also clearly acceptable to his Patrons. Doesn't make it right.
Aah, you're using that logic stuff, ain't ya?I think it does.
I'm not sure why they should care about a few dudes whining on a pirate forum when the people actually paying them say it's okay.
I was subbed to MagicNuts on Patreon for 6 months. So I've paid my dues. I saw what was happening and decided to bail.I think it does.

So you're the guy whining on a pirate forum, not the guy paying them.I was subbed to MagicNuts on Patreon for 6 months. So I've paid my dues. I saw what was happening and decided to bail.
Here you go:what was the time frame between 0.4 and 0.5?
0.5 took 7.5 months. Every update from before the patrons voted for large updates were indeed within the 3—5 month range. What MagicNuts should do is either say "sorry, patrons, but we're reverting to smaller updates so we can hold to the 3—5 month cycle" or remove that 3—5 month statement because, even though the literal next sentence is a caveat, there's still a steady stream of howler monkeys derailing this thread insisting they "promised" to deliver the roughly double-sized updates the patrons voted for while still sticking to the shorter development cycle. Since the people actually funding the development of the game voted for bigger, longer updates and the people whining are freeloaders, take a wild guess which I think they should do.84 days from release of 0.2 to 0.3, added 470MB of content. 146 days from release of 0.3 to 0.4, added 670MB of content. 223 days from release of 0.4 to 0.5, added 920MB of content. Added content per day has remained in the 4—6 MB/day range. "small updates once or twice a year" is an objectively false statement if applied to this game.
Like I said earlier, I was a patron for 6 months while this update was in progress. So freeloader? No. Current sub? No. Take a guess what I think you should do.Here you go:

Which means you either subbed in a low-paying tier that doesn't get to vote on development direction, or you did vote and got out-voted. Either way...Like I said earlier, I was a patron for 6 months while this update was in progress. So freeloader? No. Current sub? No. Take a guess what I think you should do.
...lays bare that you have a massively oversized sense of entitlement. You were never promised to get to dictate how the game gets developed, you were promised the ability to influence how the game got developed by voting along with every other Close Friend- and Best Friend-tier backer. Not getting your way because you were in the minority is always a possibility with voting. It is a risk you had to have known you were taking by signing up, yet here you are, whining because you didn't get your way.So I've paid my dues.
That's pretty much what I'm doing too, I mean, it's not like whining like a little bitch will change anything anyway.Just slowly sipping my tea until the v0.6 release.
