Ren'Py - What a Legend! [v0.7.03] [MagicNuts]

When I play What a legend, it feels like I'm playing a high quality point and click adventure game akin to Monkey Island. Except this is a "mere porn game", yet it makes me forget that and enjoy stellar visuals and writing mixed with MILF boobies.

Creative and fun concepts/ideas?

Highly recommended even not for the sex scenes (even though they are fantastic), just for being a great visual novel/point and click.

Nice fairy tale themed game with really nie presentation and more leisure then heavy theme. Very positive and well behaving game (no ejaculation into eye even for treatment). Positive story. Rare but substantial updates.

My favorite porn game. Lighthearted, clever writing, gorgeous art. Every update is more impressive than the last, I play from the beginning every time there's an update. The devs are lovely folks, I am happy to support their work.

From the start, nice graphics, funny, nice game play. Always looking forward to the next update. I like that when you get to fuck the next girl, you got such a history with her, that you are looking forward to it. That in comparison to some of the games out there were you fuck a new girl every scene and not even no her name. With What a Legend, you really start to care about the personages. Not 1 cell in my brain can think of why I would like that Orc woman, but until now, you made me love every woman, so I'm looking forward to it, to be surprised again.

Amazing art, with hot and attractive women more reap'y games with artwork and dedication are awesome hopefully we get to see more because this is truly what a artwork sex adventure game is about going on a quest line while building up your characters confidence and just blowing every chicks back out like goddamn man I feel good

The art is impressive but doesn't work well in the context of a porn game, as it's very awkwardly made into an "animation". Don't expect fluidity at the level of summertime saga.

Horrible update pace at 1.2 updates or so a year. Don't expect an ending anytime soon.

It captivating. I love the side quest as well like rose story. Since it's fantasy world I'm not gonna involve logic so much like how the king bother get to all knowing maze when there was granting wish tree. could be nice with story branching like if I want to keep rose as demon. More score probably after I get to see the story outcomes.

Art 8/10
Big part is i love 2d arts. Tho I found the facial structure of some character are just too similar, differentiated only by skin color, hair color, normal expression, and race. Could be better with little more distinction. Also during sex scene when the women insinuating she enjoy it so very much but the expression is rather weak or just normal, its kinda throw me off. It could be better with ahegao like expression cause with exaggerating talks I guess it's only fair with exaggerating facial expression as well.

Fap material 7/10
The story build up to sex is great, it's something of an achievement, but each sex scene is somewhat short that will only leave you with blueball. Could be better with an extra one or two position/variety each scene. Thankfully I found one or two scene where there are quite variety. Tho if you want to keep it like 1 position per scene it could be spicier with longer spicy narrative and spicier pillow talk so maybe it's not just gonna blueballing players.

Overall great game. Under category of its art style, this definitely in my top 10.

Probably after Fleeting Iris the second best game currently under development in the whole Hentai world. Heaps and bounds above everyone else in everything, art, music, gameplay, story, character building, world building, and the list goes on and on and on, a masterpiece. Hope it's not abandoned or starts getting 1 or 2 patches a year like usually happens on Patreon games.

Game is probably worth 4 stars only because the sex scenes are very short and basic but it more than makes up for that with a very interesting story, gorgeous artwork, good music and great ambience. I love it.

More interactive novel than "game", but nonetheless a fun/entertaining playthrough. The samples don't do it justice. I was a little worried downloading the game that is seemed too "cartoonish", wow was I wrong. The art work is phenomenal. Fantastic work, I look forward eagerly to the next update.

I'm not sure why this game has so many five-star reviews. This is probably the most basic porn game you'll come across. There's no nuance; you never really play the game, and it never feels like your choices, or rather lack thereof, have any impact on the game's progression. You're always going from point A to point B. You never truly deviate from the path laid before you. I understand that most Ren'Py games are visual novels. However, this is one of the most linear visual novels on this site, which begs the question of why it has such a high rating. You just keep moving forward, so this might as well be a slideshow. There's no way you can go wrong because the game looks after you and always steers you in the right direction, not that there is a wrong one.

The story, meanwhile, is rife with clichés. Loser protagonist? Check. Virgin? Check. Recently turned of age? Check. Massive dick? Check. This game offers nothing remarkable — except for the art style, which may be the "game's" only saving grace. Even so, if you truly adore this style, I would recommend playing some other particular game, which is far superior in terms of actual gameplay despite being built on the same engine.

As for the humor, a teenager starting his first year of high school might find enough amusement in the "hilarity" this game displays, and that's being generous. Every time the protagonist sees a woman, he pops a boner, and this theme continues throughout the story. It's like a joke that the developer thought was so funny and groundbreaking that it had to happen every time the protagonist interacted with a female character. Because otherwise, the scene would be incomplete! It intrigued me the first couple of times I saw it, but by the 20th time, I was sick of it.

To summarize, this is one of those games where you only care about unlocking the gallery because the "gameplay" isn't worth your time. I'm giving the game 2/5 stars because the art is genuinely good, but everything else falls flat, and if we're rating this as a game and not a collection of pornographic material, I can't give it a higher rating than I did.

Would love to see some girl on girl content in the future.

Story was better than I anticipated for a light-hearted game. Good world building and lore. Characters interact with each other occasionally.

Overall immersive, fun and really hot. No grinding either.

Contender for best 2d adult game, no doubt. Does it surpass SS? In another few content updates, assuming the quality stays the same, definitely.

Oddly enough, this is a game you play that actually makes you feel wholesome - the MC is a lovable dufus who cares a lot about the women (and bros) he comes across in his travels. He's the classic knight saves the princess if the knight was a not-the-sharpest-pencil 18-year-old.

Art is amazing, animations are good, story is good. Each of the characters, no matter how small of a part, feel like real people, even all the guards (love the Wedge and Biggs reference). The mini-games are not irritating as hell and are actually pretty rare.

I've probably played more than 100 games from the site and this one is hands down the best. It features absolutely stunning, original graphics, great humor, many different character stories. Writing is really good, there are some interesting story twists.
It kind of reminds me of Summertime Saga when it comes to MC personality, humor and art (which is good, as SS is a great game as well), but in a fantasy setting.
There is pretty much just one thing, which I see as a con: the update frequency. I've supported the devs on patreon for more than 1,5yr, but only 3 updates were published during that period. Relatively big and juicy, sure, but still - with the speed like that you cannot expect the game to be finished in less than 3-5 years.
But anyway, I'm definitely playing all the future updates as this game just rocks!

Great story and perfect artwork. The game has one of the most well-planned lore in all the other games I played so far. Not only the main story but the side-quest were quite interesting and not based on grinding and boring other stuff. Therefore, it was extremely fun to play and definitely deserves an excellent rating.
