They went from 95 to 96.1% in about a month, if they keep this pace, you'll have the update in 4 monthshow long have they been at this magic 95% number? a year?

i think i read some time ago that the dev used to have more people working on it but now its just him and his gf doing the drawings or something... but i could be wrong. thats probably why it takes longer to finish. They went from 95 to 96.1% in about a month, if they keep this pace, you'll have the update in 4 months
No, it's always been a two-person, husband and wife team. I think they commissioned an outside artist a couple of times to draw some landscape images (like the cityscape in Lana's content), but otherwise it's all them.i think i read some time ago that the dev used to have more people working on it but now its just him and his gf doing the drawings or something... but i could be wrong. thats probably why it takes longer to finish.
I don't think there's going to be an update. They'll stretch it out for as long as they can to get money from patrons and then dump it. Once "Total Content" is done then they'll tell you to wait a year for "Total Polish" to be done.So the orc update is next? How long have they been working on it?
Nah it's always been only them, people complained that they made so much they should hire, but they wanna stay a couple thing, Which is understandable.i think i read some time ago that the dev used to have more people working on it but now its just him and his gf doing the drawings or something... but i could be wrong. thats probably why it takes longer to finish.
Sounds very greedy tbh, also updates more often=more subcribers=more money.Nah it's always been only them, people complained that they made so much they should hire, but they wanna stay a couple thing, Which is understandable.
Not at all, people are so focused on money they don't get the logic, as someone who is busy making a game, I want it to be MY Project, MY dream, I don't want to have to discuss things with someone else, (regardless of how much the game makes) And that's not even counting the potential problems, hiring means relying on others, and when you start arguing and fighting, and sometimes even breaking the collab, as you've no doubt seen in other games, the game just gets abandoned. So money people are only obsessed with money these days, that's the only thing they focus on without realizing the problems that come with hiring, yeah you'll get more done, but that's assuming things go smoothly.Sounds very greedy tbh, also updates more often=more subcribers=more money.
Discuss what?what potential problems? Not at all, people are so focused on money they don't get the logic, as someone who is busy making a game, I want it to be MY Project, MY dream, I don't want to have to discuss things with someone else, (regardless of how much the game makes) And that's not even counting the potential problems, hiring means relying on others, and when you start arguing and fighting, and sometimes even breaking the collab, as you've no doubt seen in other games, the game just gets abandoned. they can take as much as they wanna - quality takes timeI wonder how much time they spend on lip-syncing for their silent game.![]()
"Making excuses", you are such a hater. Like every job in the world, when you got to work with someone it always creates problems, worse so when it's distance jobs, like it would be in this case, you got to trust them to do their part, if they don't which is the "worse" case you are screwed, if they do, but are super slow or lazy, you are also screwed. Clearly you ignored everything else in my postDiscuss what?what potential problems?
You can hire people without making them part of the creative process, alot of devs do this like Evakiss.
You are literally making excuses, looking the worst outcome of every scenario.
ive been following them since start, and the status updates they post, ive never felt like they stretch the updates.. however some updates have been bigger than others and thus takes longer... i think this new one is a big update with the orc content.I don't think there's going to be an update. They'll stretch it out for as long as they can to get money from patrons and then dump it. Once "Total Content" is done then they'll tell you to wait a year for "Total Polish" to be done.
I'll believe it when I see itThey went from 95 to 96.1% in about a month, if they keep this pace, you'll have the update in 4 months
Like I don’t get most of this, what exactly is “Audio” supposed to be? 32/39 what? Original Hans Zimmer tracks, custom sound effects recorded in their garage, random beatboxing, the usual Kevin McLeod tracks??? Syncing the bgm/sfx to the respective scene???No, they are over 95% done.

Q: How do you count audio tasks?Like I don’t get most of this, what exactly is “Audio” supposed to be? 32/39 what? Original Hans Zimmer tracks, custom sound effects recorded in their garage, random beatboxing, the usual Kevin McLeod tracks??? Syncing the bgm/sfx to the respective scene???
A: Finding audio files, editing them, and adding them to the game, then going through the game and making sure that they don't interfere with other sound effects and that it stops correctly once the scene changes and also works well when the player replays a scene using the crystal ball.
Lana wasn't a main girl either, and she got a hefty update too.The character there is not even main girl or something.
