While I understand, I loath alcohol myself, but she is really hot, and it does seem as though she might be sobering up now that things are starting to go her way again, and she has something important to do.

I know Simmone is written to be kinda naive and foolish on purpose but... c'mon, girl, your inclination to hear this man out who just broke into your carriage and assaulted you instead of running and screaming for help the moment he let you go is gonna get you *actually* kidnapped and/or murdered one day. He didn't even have a knife!
And is it just me, or does Simmone have kindof a... weird-looking potato face? It's weird that Myrtle, a simple woodcutter's wife, and Holly, a Sheperdess, are much prettier in terms of their face/head shape. Like someone was playing with the face sliders in a character creator and made the eyes and brow way too big compared to the size of the rest of her face. True, the idea that nobles are just inherently prettier than common folk is a fairy tale trope and nowhere near true in real life, but this is a fantasy game with a very "fairy tale" aesthetic, not realistic low fantasy at all. Serana and Lana fit the trope perfectly, after all.
EDIT: Oh hey, Simmone's mom *does* get another mention here! And I must admit, when you can see the whole thing, that's a very nice dress.

Maybe... She develops some kind of addiction. Hope for her she recovers, meanwhile those ppl need of Government i think she would do a better job as Ruler than her niece Serena... Considering the first thing she wants to do is burn books that her family inherit just because she can't read them, isn't a good sign for that Kingdom.
Possible, but there is a chance that he doesn't after all, he just wanna have a good time.

Still the best scene of Simonne. That dress choice that show her curves in the sunset is really a genius concept by Chestnut. Just wish there will be a close up scene with Simonne and Lana, that's my only criticism in the last update.
Wait - where was this scene?? Is this a spoiler or did I miss something? I don't remember any interactions with her other than at the carriage and the encounter on the wall. When did they ever kiss??
I am 1000% in favor of the story ending with Queen Lana sober on the throne while her niece is busy popping out half-elf babies and wondering how the hell a human boy swept her off her feet

King as in monarch? Not necessarily. More likely he'll be king consort, to either Serena or Lana. They'll still probably want a Nevernuff in charge, at least officially.
