This plays into my personal theory, which is that the statues in the old dead king ghost's basement each represent one of the women you can gain a power from. One is an Elf, which would fit Lana. There's also a Pixie and an Orc (Maple and Gomira). There appears to be a human (obv we are going to gain Madeline's power, cmon), an angel, and a mermaid as well! However, one of them is a Demon, and my theory took a bit of a knock when Lassie didn't apparently gain a power after sealing the deal with Rose. But maybe it just has yet to unlock, or something else is required to happen for a human to gain a power from a demon? Maybe Lassie has to gain his powers in a certain order. Let's be honest - we don't truly understand how the rules of Magical Powers You Copy By Fucking Girls goes. We only have a short speech from a frequently confused ancient ghost who probably has his robe on backward. MagicNuts are still free to invent all sorts of rules governing the process which will result in a satisfactory explanation of why Lassie didn't gain a power from Rose. *hint, hint*

Couldn't agree more, but we ought to be patient. Lots of porn VN's promise pregnancy mechanics, few deliver. The few that do deliver, usually disappoint. I have high hopes for how MN are going to implement it. The only thing worse than a broken promise for pregnancy game mechanics, is a rushed and botched attempt. Lassie being a stand up kinda guy, there will be no deadbeatery about it! There are no powers to be gained by having sex with ordinary women (or pixies, demons, orcs, or whatever). Only a few families in the realm have Gifts, which are the magical powers Lassie can 'learn' and that will be acquired only in the main story bits. No idea about what powers will be gained from the other girls overall, other than Madeline's since we know what hers is. (Maybe Lassie can use it to play mind games on the evil lord and his goons? or to seduce women?) But I'm hoping Maple's power is the power to shrink down and become tiny! Imagine Lassie visiting a Pixie city full of cute three inch tall ladies to seduce.

In a world where magical transformations ae possible, magical transitions would also exist. It would probably be a relatively simple spell to make the body match the brain. As long as we have genetic and neurological diversity, as long we do not stigmatize such diversity, we will have LGBTQ+ individuals. Such diversity is as normal as left handedness, freckles, or red hair. My own AVN worlds, fantasy, steampunk, contemporary, or science fiction, such things will not carry stigma...because they're my worlds!

And the other part is, no, this game isn't in "the past". It's in a fantasy setting already chock-full of anachronisms as compared to its primary real-world inspiration of medieval Europe. The creators can put whatever they like and it won't be out of place, because they're who gets to decide what's out of place in a world they made up.
And I point all this out as someone who isn't even particularly interested in trans content - the punk girlfriend is cis on my Summertime Saga save - I'm just not bothered by the mere acknowledgement that trans people exist as you seem to be by describing the modern world as "fucked up" for doing so.
